Hyatt Place Panama City Beach/Beachfront

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make conversation with the people staying. The breakfast was also really good for an included breakfast. The restaurant also had good options. Overall, the hotel was clean and the rooms had great views. Also wasn’t too far of a walk to the pier.

Nice newer place on the beach. Spacious rooms with balconies overlooking the beach. Heated pool plus hot tub.

Hotel added a ~$60 resort fee, which is annoying but pretty standard now. But then they ran out of towels by the pool and said they weren’t going to restock them, the pool bar was closed, ice machines were all turned off, etc. Not major issues, but pretty annoying when you’ve prepaid the hotel and are charged an incremental fee for amenities at check in, to have those amenities end up not being available.

Mixed Drinks from the coconuts restaurant bar were subpar and The food was mediocre . I arrived early (11:30am) requested to check in early and was told the room was being made ready and that I was in queue. I was notified at 3:40pm that the room was ready. The room itself didn’t have enough towels. The pool towels run out by the afternoon.

Love this property, would only suggest Turkey Bacon or Sausage option for the breakfast buffet.

Amazing place to stay. Close to Pier Park and fun bars and restaurants. The hotel bar was amazing too!

the hotel is just 2 years old with a very nice pool area. New is always nice. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Mo in particular did a great job of making us feel welcome and informed. Complimentary breakfast was very well done every morning. We had a premium room with ocean view so no complaints there. Great water pressure for the shower.

Beautiful room, very clean and comfortable bed! Amazing view of the Gulf! Great breakfast and excellent service.
