Beach Tower Beachfront Hotel, a by the Sea Resort

Front desk staff were amazing… close to the beach and everything. Housekeeping could do a better job, we bought bleach cleaner to clean the kitchen and bathroom area ourself. There is no daily housekeeping. Very nice stay for the money.

You might want to think twice before you book this hotel. This hotel needs some major upgrades and they need to hire someone who knows how to clean a room. Also if they are going to charge a resort fee they could at least have daily housekeeping and comforters on the beds. And maintenance! There are a lot of people coming in from the pool and beach who are wet but mopping the floor and elevator a few times a day would have been a major improvement. We stayed here for a week in June. It is on the ocean so access to the beach is great. Also parking was right next to the hotel. We had an easy check in and I paid the resort fee which was about $128. I don’t know what they charge it for because all you have is a small pool and pool towels. I asked about chairs and an umbrella at the beach but those are separate contractors. The view from our balcony on one of the upper floors was beautiful. I loved having breakfast and watching the ocean. The balcony was a little scary since one of the bolts was completely missing. The room had a full size refrigerator (with ice trays), a full sink, a microwave and a small glasstop stove. There were a few pots and pans and utensils. The fridge was dirty so I had to clean it on the inside and out before we used it. The coffee maker was small but enough for one person after I went and bought filters and coffee. The microwave worked but was rusted on the inside. The bathroom was dirty with hair in the tub and on the floor. I cleaned this too. The hair dryer didn’t work. The door to the balcony and bathroom had to be slammed to get them to close. The room had two queen beds. One seemed to have a new mattress on it, but the other mattress had never been replaced. I could have slept better on the floor, but the carpet was sticky. There were sheets on the bed and a cover that was about the thickness of a sheet. Luckily we had some blankets with us because it was freezing in the room each night. For the week we were there we had no housekeeping services. Seems like the resort fee would have at least covered housekeeping. I went to the desk each day to get towels and take down our dirty ones. We also bought trash bags and took out the trash. I did not see any bugs here and that was a plus! No vacuuming the entire time. Even a broom would have been better than nothing. The ice machine was broken. You had to walk next door to the sister hotel for ice. On the second foor was a sign for Guest Laundry. But there isn’t one. I went next door to use the one at Holiday Terrace. I had $1.50 in change. The fee for the dryer was $2.25. Went to the desk at the Holiday Terrace to get change only to be told that they would not give me change and I had to go back to the Beach Tower for change. I hauled my clothes back to our room and gave up. The towels were the thinnest I have ever seen. Found out on day 4 that we had been only given “pool” towels and that the regular towels were actually a little thic

Visited in April of 2024. Loved that the hotel was a walk away from the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants on front beach. The front desk staff was very nice and enjoyable to talk to daily during our stay. The hotel itself is in need of an upgrade, but our beds and room were clean with ocean view. Hotel is in need of repairs. Wish they had continental breakfast and daily housekeeping check-ins. Overall, it wasn't so bad for the price we paid..

ONE of the WORST hotels I have ever stayed at over 60 years of traveling! We checked in at 2 PM but didn't get room access until 5PM. The room they assigned did not have bedding or a working TV. We switched rooms but this was much dirtier. Floors had dirt/grim everywhere. It was supposed to be a suite, but no table, chairs, or counters exist so you ate on the bed. The oven was greasy and I tried to make a pizza but it was so smoky that the alarms went off and we had to open all the doors. The top burners were also greasy so only used the microwave which had a broken door. No stopper for the sink to wash dishes so we bought one ourselves. Had to ask 3-4 times/days bfore they would clean the room. They did not have a vacuum cleaner so they swept the carpet. Had to wear shoes at all times or our feet were black. There was no one at the desk so you had to walk next door to get help. The entry doors were always open so anyone could walk into the building. Ice machine was also broke so we bought ice trays. Terrible place. The only good thing was that you could walk out to the beach. Many other problems with this place but too numerous to mention.

This hotel is the filthiest, nastiest place I've ever checked into. it's like an abandoned building. No staff, no amenities, please see photos below. Trash under beds, shower curtain rotting and falling off, pure filth from wall to wall!!!

When they say check in at 4pm they won't check you in a minute before. Long wait out the door to check in. When I booked the hotel it said resort fee for 2 nights $30, when we got there they charged us $40. Check out is 10am and you better be out by then. 2 queen size beds in totally different rooms. One room had the air conditioner, and the other had a dirty, warped ceiling fan, so one room had to be kept cold to help keep the other room comfortable. The 3 in 1 shampoo and soap dispenser was empty. On a positive note, it was nice to sit and watch the ocean.

The first person I met upon our arrival, was JD. First impressions mean a lot. He set the tone for the rest of our stay at the motel, by being such a very very nice person, and knowledgeable. We used to live in Panama City beach, and have visited there several times since we moved. Everything about our stay was great. The room was very nice, on the third floor. The view was exceptional. To sum up the visit, great location, great staff, very nice room, very good value. Beach Tower is now our new go to place!

We were greeted by really nice staff and a special lady named Karen who was so kind to us. This place is a great location close to everything and it’s beautiful! The pool is a little small but still plenty of fun for the family. Great access right to the beach and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We would definitely come back.

The staff was very nice and the room was very clean. I will stay there again. Everything was convenient. Beautiful scenery of the beach from the balcony. The room was nice and clean. Even though the price is a little steep I will stay there again.
