I and my family have stayed at Front One Resort Magelang for 2 times, it's amazing that the land is very well equipped with the facilities that seem to be the most complete than all hotels in Magelang, I've tried basketball there, volleyball, swimming, outbound, It's a great hotel, it's recommended for families, business and couples. Night and night when I'm lazy to go anywhere, I finally tried the legendary noodles that its location is right next to the Hotel, so complete my experience during my stay at this hotel, clean and friendly as well as the service, thank you for Front One Resort Magelang, If God wills next month I'll take my family to stay there again.

It's quite cheap for a family type room. It's only 300 thousand a day, including breakfast for 3 people. Unfortunately, breakfast is delivered to the room and there is no menu choice.
The room and bathroom are quite clean. But the pool water is not clean and there is no warm water to rinse.

How good it is to go to an Indonesian hotel that has a star rating that matches its facilities. So many times in the last few weeks we have stayed at hotels that SAY they are five-star but are nowhere close to that. Sarasvati Hotel is listed as 3-star, and 3-star it is. It is spectacularly well located within walking distance of Borobudur Temple, there are lots of restaurants within easy walking distance, and there is a convenience store across the street. The rooms are clean but dated, and set around a quiet courtyard. It would be good to have a desk and chair, and easy access to a powerpoint in the room. I was able to use a table in the dining area for this though. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. As a boutique property, I expected there may be little on offer, and certainly not buffet-style. I was wrong. There was tea & coffee, juices, fresh fruit, rice, noodles, a chicken dish, a vegetable dish, a few local goodies, and bread for toasting (butter and 2 jams). There was also an egg chef for made-to-order eggs. My only criticism would be that used dishes were not cleared from the table promptly (or without having to ask). The staff was friendly, and courteous, and provided some good information about the changes to viewing at the Borobudur Temple. The gardens and pool were terrific. Rooms are on two levels, so try for the ground floor level if you do not want to climb stairs.

this hotel is strategic in position in the interconnection beetween magelang city and district magelang (different administration area), you can go to the mall which has a connection alley to and from the hotel, and the mall is the only mall that fulfill the standard mall that has a decent foodcourt and etc to buy. you can go around the city from the hotel in a comfortable distance.

The external environment of the hotel is very good, and the privacy is also very good. The best thing is the private swimming pool, which is very clean. If it wasn't because of two things that affected my mood, I would give a good evaluation: 1. The situation at the time of check-in: it was clearly shown that there were two beds when booking the room, but there was only one bed after check-in. After repeated communication, Ctrip made up for the hotel The difference in the price of the extra bed was enough to stay. It was almost ten o'clock in the evening, and I was tired and hungry;
2. Problems occurred during checkout: US dollars and RMB were not accepted at checkout, and there was a problem with card swiping. I swiped the card twice and deducted money twice, but the hotel only received it once. After a long communication, the hotel promised to refund the extra deductions within 15 days I hope that after a few days, there will be no cross-border communication for this extra money. The room fee of more than 2,500 per night, check-in and check-out have problems, it should not be. In particular, this day happens to be New Year's Eve, which affects the mood very much.

As always, to maintain the level of aman, there is a special person to pick up and pick up luggage from the plane. The ritual check-in experience is superb. The Indonesian fried rice and noodles are especially recommended. As soon as you go out, you must be cleaned and your items returned to the room. Although it is the rainy season, the sun is shining in the morning for half a day, and the night pavilion is really content to listen to the rain. The hotel has a variety of activities such as watching Borobudur sunrise, horse riding and picnics, the service is good, and of course the fees are higher. It is said that since February 6, the hotel will be renovated behind closed doors. After all, it has been in operation for 22 years. I look forward to the new look and the better.

The staff are super friendly and helpful, the cabin we rented was beautiful and roomy. The food and drinks we ordered were very good, just take care not to order too much for breakfast (order should be made the day before). The resort offers to book some day trips and other activities for you, which is very handy. We rented a scooter and the entire process was as smooth as you could wish for: the scooter was available on the agreed time and almost full of gas, so we could take off immediately. The pool has a nice temperature and there usually are some spots in de the shade where you can relax without risk of sunburn.

If you are to visit the Borobudur site, this is one of the best places to stay as it's literally 100m away from the main gate (Regular visit). If you are planning on the Sunrise or Sunset tour, they provide free transportation to the gate (This gate is located around 1.5Kms away from the guest house). Staff was simply amazing. I have to especially mention Himatul who was really helpful in providing vital information related to the site/tour in general. Additionally, she has accompanied us during the visit which kept our minds at ease. As per the room, it had, 1 King size bed, 1 single bed which was more than enough for us. The room had air conditioning and an attached bathroom. They have provided a decent free breakfast with a satisfactory portion of Nasi Goreng with Guava juice(I loved it!) + they have free wifi. + rooms are air conditioned. + they have attached bathrooms + there's a common area to have your food - They don't have their own restaurant, but there are many places to buy local food including street food. + There's a supermarket/mart nearby. + Staff was super friendly and helpful. + Very close to the Borobudur site (100m to the main gate). + Free transportation for Sunset/Sunrise tours.
