We had a delightful night at the Alice. The owner-innkeeper is joyful in his work and sets the tone for your visit. His every gesture begins with a smile. Imagine an airy bedroom in the attic of a quirky, old manor house with fine views, a very comfortable bed, a full-length bathtub and an elevator to your floor. It’s a rickety, ramshackle pile that reeks of the ghosts of country balls and banquets. Built by the countess of the area, it’s easy to imagine the entertainments she must have had with the grand fireplaces at full blaze. Now sparsely furnished and organized with the folding tables for modest corporate retreats, there is still a faint aura of a romantic past that lingers in the hallways and public rooms. The roughly planted grounds are pleasant and the inviting modern pool very clean and refreshing. Every guest took a plunge. We visited Issoire to see its important Romanesque church. The Alice provided a perfect stopping place in nearby Parentignat for the night. We left smiling and would definitely return.

Ein tolles Haus, mit geossem Umschwung und einem Pool. Sehr freundlicher Empfang vom Ehepaar des Manoir. Die Zimmer sind gross und sauber. Hunde sind willkommen. Das Fühstück ist reichlich und vieles hausgemacht, wie das Brot, Säfte und die Konfitüre. Wir waren 1 Nacht dort und können es wärmstens weiter empfehlen

Nous avons passés un excellent moment paisible dans ce magnifique manoire ! Nous avons étés accueillis et conseiller par un super Hôte, très sympathique et de bons conseils ! Les chambres et suites sont magnifiques ! La literie est parfaite et de quoi de plus enchanteur que de se réveiller avec les gazouillis d'oiseaux ! Le petit-déjeuner est très bon et que de bons produits fait maison ! Et le gros plus est la superbe piscine ! Tout y était parfait ! Nous reviendrons merci beaucoup. Famille Y .

Très agréable séjour dans une magnifique bâtisse très entretenue et rénovée il y a peu, notamment les salles de bains. L’hôtel se trouve dans un endroit calme et reposant, les propriétaires sont très gentils et serviables, ils sont présents si présent si besoin. Le séjour était parfait !
