We stayed at the hotel in October (21st-23rd) after pre-booking and paying online. When we arrived on October 21st the duty manager verbally acknowledged that we had paid in full. We paid the city tax in cash. The duty manager asked for a credit card to hold a security deposit of 130 euro. ( the first time this happened during a 10 week trip through Europe). The amount was taken from our account and not yet refunded - OVER 4 weeks later. I know there was absolutely NO reason on this earth for them to keep the money… geeze I think we even made the bed when we left. I’ve emailed 3 times since being back in Australia and after the first email saying they were looking into it - They have ghosted me! This is disgusting behaviour from a hotel!

Stayed on recommendation of Man in Seat 61. Handy for Gard du Monparnasse nearby for transit. Friendly receptionist. Shower decent. Bed fine. Multiple places nearby on Rue Daguerre to choose to eat at.

I stayed in Hotel du Maine on my short lay over in Paris. I was pretty shocked by the size of the rooms, halls and elevators. Everything seemed pretty claustrophobic. Big suitcase and one big person in an elevator seems too much. Same with the hall... my big bag seemed to take the entire space. The room was also tiny, but clean and nice. It is really nice that the hotel is located very close to the metro station. If someone likes long walks you can easily walk from there to the Eiffel Tower. I would consider staying here again when I am back in Paris.

Nous avions réservé deux chambres triple pour notre passage à Paris, l'hôtesse d'accueil était charmante et l'horaire d'arrivée flexible. Les chambres étaient propres ainsi que la salle de bain. Malheureusement nous ça vaut vraiment très mal dormi avons dans des chambres d à peine 14 m² avec 3 lits etroits de 70 cm de large ce qui n'est pas du tout adapté à un adulte et une literie très dure. Le chauffage de la salle de bain etait monter à fond avec un bouton cassé et donc impossible à éteindre ce qui a gâché notre nuit.

Je connaissais l’hôtel. Il est toujours aussi bien placé et facile d’accès. Accueil très sympathique.

À 82€ la nuit des draps propres et une literie confortable ça fait le boulot

Comment est-ce possible d'avoir une telle amplitude de tarifs ? Pour la même chambre en premium, en 24 heures, on passe de 89 euros à 299 euros. Une chambre minuscule commandée avec 2 lits pour 2 adultes, à l'arrivée un lit en 130 collé à un mur. Des toilettes dans le passage pour accéder à la douche, assis sur les toilettes, vos genoux touchent le mur, pour info, je mesure 1m60 ! Toutefois, hôtel très bien placé et un excellent accueil. À ce prix là, le petit-déjeuner n'est même pas compris dans la prestation, prévoir 13 euros de plus. Il y a beaucoup mieux chez la concurrence, Ibis par exemple, à 2 pas.
