Hotel Nation Montmartre

DO NOT stay here whatever you do they are scam artist and steal and defraud you.I called this hotel before my stay in Paris to ask how much it would cost to add an additional person to my room. They quoted me 75 euros per night, but it was just an inquiry—I wasn't making a reservation, just getting a price estimate. In the end, I went to Paris alone, and the other person didn't join me. However, when I gave my card at check-in for the room deposit, they later charged me for the additional person who never arrived. It was only meant to be a quote, and they had no reason to charge me. When I called to address this issue, they were incredibly rude, and I noticed their Google reviews are already very poor. This seems like a fraudulent charge, and I’m requesting a full refund. Please Read the reviews on Google and here, the other good reviews are fake and listen to people who stay there. DO NOT LET THEM TAKE YOUR CREDIT CARD FOR THE DAMAGE DEPOSIT AS THIS IS THEIR SCAM

Good value for the money. Room was properly cleaned, good breakfast and staff was friendly and helpful. Of course, it is not the Ritz, and the gentlemen outside the Barbes-Rochechouart Metro were dealing in other commodities than gold. Just a walk away from Sacre-Coeur / Montmartre and Molin Rouge, so very practically situated.

Upon checking in I felt a little off as the man charged me for the city tax and telling me I had to pay cash and would not give me a receipt and I thought I had paid it when I booked (which After departure I checked and I had) he then charged me more for the deposit then what was listed on *********** and even on the paper at the counter and he said it changed. Then surprise surprise after departure he took all of the deposit, I called and emailed and they said to contact *********** as they have been notified. They said I had damaged towels (which I hadn’t). I then contacted *********** and they had hiring from the hotel for a week and then they said I damaged sheets and towels (which I swear I didn’t). I asked for proof of damage and no one proofed with any nor an invoice. I’m so disappointed as I had previously really enjoyed my stay. But I feel like I was completely scammed!

I hate this hotel. This hotel took 200 euro deposit to dry the small part of the bed. That was happened because the water bottle from my doughter’s bag accidentally spilled on the bed. What I don’t understand, how they can charge me 200 Euro to dry the wet part which should be dried itself within 10 minutes. Stay away from this hotel. They are double dealer. They already charged me 200 Euro still another 200 Euro in the provision. There was nobody that could speak English at the reception at night. And the rooms are not good with the sound insulation. For two nights I could not sleep well because of the sound coming from another room. There was a construction while we were doing check in process which should have been completed before. Just keep in mind, you may encounter many bad surprises with this hotel.

Тerrible hotel with extremely rude staff. Upon arrival, they took a deposit of 150 euros and said that they would return it to us upon leaving the hotel by bank transfer. Until this moment they did not come back. So far they have not returned anything to us, they do not answer their emails and hang up the phone. Don't go to this hotel if you don't want to be lied to.

Very basic hotel, clean room, comfortable bed, basic facilities, basic breakfast. The Reception staff were helpful. Def a budget hotel good central location. You pay a city tax on arrival this is not mentioned on booking €8 for two nights. My only advice is it’s a dodgy area at night make sure you get a taxi. Don’t use the metro Barbès-Rochechouart it’s dangerous day and night lots of shady characters hanging around. If you’re concerned and can afford it stay in the other side de of Sacre-coeur.
