Dongdaemun Boutique Hotel is located next to Hualien Hou Railway Station. It is quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle, and has convenient life functions. The whole hotel uses barrier-free facilities, which is convenient for passengers with disabilities and luggage. The atrium of the hotel also has a well-designed texture landscape. It is more beautiful, and it is very suitable for groups or family and friends to travel.

With a relaxing atmosphere, the hotel offers a comfortable open space for two, four, six and eight people, and a variety of room types with a cheerful atmosphere everywhere. It is suitable for backpackers who love freedom or three or five friends to travel, spend time in worthy places and enjoy a free and playful life.
"Great experiance at The moment by lakeshore! The kids were thrilled by the bunk beds with curtains and privet hangers and lights 😅
It's a complex of buildings by lakeshore, we had a room with amazing mountains and gardens view.
The auto check in station was simple to understand and operate, and suitable for us, since we arrived quite late.
The room design is very cool, everything worked, good water pressure. The shower is separated from the toilet, so it's comfy for friends staying together. For us as a family it didn't matter.
Everything in the minibar was included in the room price, and I tried the cold brew teas, they were excellent!
The breakfast was served in the hotel building next to our hotel, from the same owner. Great buffet, large variety and even marked for allergies!
The hotel has a parking area close by, and it's about 10 minutes drive to Taroko visitors center.
All in all, I recommend this hotel for short stays, if you are with 3 or 4 kids take the bunk beds room for 6, we really enjoyed it."

"We stayed just for a short night to take an early train. 5 minutes walk to train station.
Breakfast was Asian style start at 6 am.
Room was standard, bed on the harder side. Bathroom with open shower, means after shower the whole floor gets wet, which we don‘t like.
Compared to other hotels, I would pay less for this room."

"I love the spacious & clean room with excellent view of the city .The lobby is well decorated with interesting wooden sculptures.The breakfast spread is fantastic with great varieties of food selection.I had a very relaxing & enjoyable stay here Will love to come back to Parkview Hotel again!Thank u for this wonderful experience!"

Seeing Hualien's sights from this hotel is easy with Holy Temple, Pine Garden and Changjinglu Parent-Child Park all close by. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Hualien hotel provides parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. For guests traveling as a couple, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"We had a very good stay at the Fantasy Apartment, overall! First and foremost, I want to thank the host, who was super helpful and informative! The room layout is a bit out of the ordinary, but the place was clean and comfortable. The tub was a bit wobbly upon entering/exiting it, so I'd suggest fixing it to the floor better, but the water temperature and pressure were fantastic.
Pros: friendly host (but make sure you have a Translation app if you don't speak Chinese), near Hualien Station, 24hour laundromat nearby, places to eat nearby, and places to rent bikes.
Cons: wobbly bath, and floor-to-ceiling window (however there are curtains)."

"It was a very nice chill hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were good and the airconditioner worked well. The only downside was that the bathroom very strongly smelled of sewage a lot of the time, which wasn’t very pleasant."

MMisafir KullanıcıThe hotel is closed by the main train station and provides excellent service. They provide buffet style of breakfast and dinner. The foods were so delicious and so many different choices.
They have 24 hours coffee and tea at the rest area. The whole hotel, restaurant, room, bathroom, elevator….we’re so clean and cozy. All the hotel staff were so kindly and attentive in service.
The hotel also has free indoor and outdoor parking lots. The guests could do their own laundry free of charge, very convenient. We have enjoyed the stay and would love to visit in the future.
Over all, this is a great hotel to stay and good bargain for all the services. We enjoyed the stay so very much.

GGL64Hotel provides free afternoon tea and snacks for guests, as well as supper. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good, within walking distance to the night market. The hotel emailed us as we had left some items in our rooms while hurriedly packing our bags. My sister and I were caught in the earthquake on 0403. Thanks to the professional front desk agents, we were able to get to the train station in hope of catching an afternoon train back to Taipei. Unfortunately, after waiting for about 3 hours, we were informed that all trains were cancelled. Our guide, Mason, who took us on the Taroko gorge tour the day before, was super super kind and helpful who went out of his way to rent a car and drove all 7 of us from the tour group to Kaohshiung. We spent the night there before taking the hsr to Taipei. Mason is truly exceptional, authentic and passionate. We are really grateful to Mason. Indeed, we are blessed to have met kind hearted souls in Hualien. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Hualien, Taiwan.

Ssince2789A cosy hotel conveniently located near Hualien station. The beds are comfy and check in was efficient. The staff also let me keep my bike inside overnight, which was very considerate.

MMichael H..Very positive experience. Place is quite nice if you look for a decent Hostel in Hualien (even though it might look a little bit run down from the outside).
Nice roof top terrace for a night cup and 24h free flow coffee/tea is a plus.
Communication with the front desk staff varies a lot, depending on the individual English language skills of the staff on duty, but has never been a real issue.
Moreover, we‘ve been quite surprised having a German speaking guy there the day we‘ve checked in.

SSam Wei 10Good service and nice room overall. Good Chinese style breakfast. Check in kiosk is used, which is interesting, however still need to go to reception for the breakfast voucher. Location is not the best, 15 minutes walking from Jian train station and pretty much no other public transport nearby. I ordered a taxi from the reception.

@@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
