"All the reviews are true, but it’s not the wooden building that causes it.  Yes, it is very loud and you hear everyone. We’ve stayed in other fully wooden places, it’s worse here. Maybe not the wood but the guests are the problem. Loud Chinese people, walking the stairs with the heaviest pace you can imagine. Maybe help the other guests by hanging some warnings on the stairs: please be mindful for the other guests when walking to your room.  Also loud Chinese tourist on the square below. Not only while eating they scream all over the place, also with the tea ceremony nobody asks them to please stop talking after 23:00/24:00. We were up till 02:00AM because of tea drinking Chinese people at the fire. We stayed in the suite, which is located above the fire pit. Maybe the other rooms are less noisy. At 7AM each morning, somebody ran down the stairs. We think it’s the staff. It wakes you up through your earplugs.  The staff is OK. They are very shy, not rude. They could be more pro active though as we didn’t feel like they wanted to do something.. which is different to rude but also not very friendly.  The other villages around are way bigger and less cozy than Wengji. Also, with this guesthouse being just next to the town, it was perfect to escape the tourists most of the time. We didn’t find other accommodations in Wengji with the same aesthetics as Shishi guesthouse so we can’t recommend other places better than this. Maybe if the guesthouse would invest in trying to keep the noise down under the various guests, with text signs or with clearer house rules (fire pit), the noise problem wouldn’t be as bad.  Maybe if they tried to enthusiast their staff more and keep them from watching Chinese drama shows on their phones all day, they would be a bit more welcoming.  We’ve met a lot of amazing people in Wengji, it’s definitely not the locals that have this behaviour.  Lastly, the suite has a cubicle bathroom in the room, they really don’t clean this well. It smells very bad and just feels dirty all over.  For comfort this place is too expensive, for the location and aesthetics you won’t find better options nearby."

"Everything there was very good except for the restaurant sevice. Don't order the pineapple fries rice: the pineapple was sour and hard with only 2-3 spoons of rice. Maybe it was not the season for the pineapple in December."

"服務超預期，很多五星級酒店都不會到停車場幫你拿行李，然後幫你把行李送到房間，這點超預期。 酒店大堂每天下午到晚上有水果而且非常甜，特別是梨。 唯一缺點隔音，遇到隔壁房間動靜大的，這邊聽的很清楚，對聲音敏感的會受影響。"

"Very surprising staying at Eterna Venue Resort Jingmai due to the duty manager Gary’s extremely excellent service after the first night’s facility issue of my booked 2 bedroom suite, he offered the best he could the next day to have an extra relaxing accommodation at different rooms , which made our long trip much less tiredness after.  Gary organised everything from the room changes, take away breakfast, afternoon tea, etc, my family very appreciated for his efforts indeed. The location of the resort is great, the design is magnificent, afternoon tea is a plus. We truly thank Gary for everything, we recommend the place to all who planning & look forward a relaxing & enjoyful holiday."

"我在景邁山住了三晚，寨子裏2晚，山下一晚，住在寨子裏去景點還是方便，尤其那個石頭路。總體來説，非常不錯，比預期要好，老闆圖片都是手機拍的，我覺得實際要好於圖片。另外，老闆的茶性價比挺高，紅茶作為口糧茶，有一款生普古樹，説樹齡幾百年，招牌款，口感不錯，喝上幾泡，回甘越來越甜，而且能發散開，喜歡的可以試試，老闆説5月份會再次裝修，下次還會選擇這裏！"

"酒店房間硬件設施過硬，房間探出崖壁，在陽台上並沒有懸空感，卻視野絕佳。除夕站在陽台上，觀看遠處寨子燃放煙花，簡直是視覺盛宴。初一晚上西雙版納地震，房間也有震感，但由於房間電視上能及時播放預警訊息，讓人踏實不少。酒店美中不足的是，總共就十多間房，春節期間竟無法滿足用餐需求，而且還未提前告知。作為攜程主推酒店，稍顯尷尬。"
