"I have stayed previously hereon a few occasions, finding it convenient. It is in a good location close to restaurants and bars money changer.
I believe it's good value for money despite limited amenities.

"I stayed here for 3 nights with my child and chose a beachfront room. Overall, it was a good experience — easy access to the beach, spacious room, and fast internet. Breakfast is not included, so you have to pay extra. I came by public transportation: you can take a jeepney to the main road and walk in, or take a tricycle from the city for about 250 pesos. The atmosphere was nice, the staff were friendly and helpful, and there was security on-site
One downside is that there aren’t many restaurants nearby, so dining options are a bit limited.

"The pub part of the offer was outstanding, Magners on tap, real British pub atmosphere, best calamares I had in decades. Nice seats watching out on the bay. Could not be sny better in England.
The rooms were rather soso, and I don’t mean the size or rudimentary furniture. There were small ants all over so I kept my suitcase closed. There was a loud fan in the room and a rattling a/c in the bathroom window. The shower fittings were adventurous and the water flow very low. And the rental requirements did not make me feel really welcome, read yourself to make your own opinion.
I had a quick dip in the water in the morning and left a day early.
In general, I would rather pay 10 bucks more and have a decent shower and a/c and no bugs in my room."

"I really loved the vibe and scenery of the resort—it was such a relaxing place to stay. The room was perfect; everything was clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable. However, there were a couple of downsides. When we checked in, there was no WiFi, and we were informed that the internet provider had ongoing issues. Unfortunately, this wasn’t fixed throughout our stay. Additionally, the pool could use some improvement in terms of water clarity. The water appeared blurry and gray, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a great experience, but these small issues could be improved to make the stay even better."

"Beautiful resort and room is first class with amazing beach views and a great balcony. Unfortunately there is little access to room service and restaurant closes orders at 7:30 so had to order from pub next door. Breakfast was ok but underwhelming. Coffee was very good thou. For premium price compared to other hotels need to really improve room service and amenities."

After I was escorted to the room I had to return to the reception desk for asking to switch on electric power inside the room. Phones in rooms? - Never heard of those.
There was 2 small pieces of soap ('toiletries'), and 2 instant packs of 'complimentary coffee'. But there was no electric kettle, nor drinking water in this room.
Meal in the restaurant too pricy.

IINFINIVAN, INC.I recently stayed at Samba Blue Water Resort in Olongapo City, Zambales, and I’d like to share my full experience. From the peaceful beach atmosphere to the accommodating staff, it was a stay that truly stood out — both for its strengths and for a few areas that could be improved.
The moment I arrived at Samba Blue, I could tell this wasn’t just another commercial beachfront resort. It had a laid-back, local island vibe that immediately made me feel at ease. The entrance was welcoming, check-in was smooth, and the staff made me feel like a valued guest from the start.
I stayed in one of their rooms and it offered a good balance of comfort and nature. The space was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room had the essentials I needed for a relaxing beach getaway.
The sound of the waves in the background and the breeze flowing through the resort made it easy to unwind. If you're someone who enjoys a more ”back-to-basics” island experience, you’ll probably love the rustic charm.
The beach area is the real highlight. The shoreline was clean, and there were enough shaded areas and cabanas to relax in. I loved that the resort maintained a peaceful, non-crowded vibe, even though there were several other guests staying at the same time.
The pool area and sun deck were well-maintained, and I enjoyed the acoustic night setup they had on the weekend — it was a perfect way to end the day with some live music under the stars.
They also offer water activities like jet skiing and banana boat rides, which add excitement if you’re in the mood for adventure.

JJames Doblekay, here's my take on Mango's Beachfront Resort in Olongapo, based on what I've seen:
If you're heading to Olongapo, especially for diving, Mango's Beachfront Resort has some definite pros. The location is right on the beach, which is a big plus, and the staff are consistently praised for being super friendly and helpful. The restaurant has good food, and you can enjoy it with a view of the ocean. They've also got a dive center right there, which is really convenient if you're planning on doing some underwater exploring.
However, be aware that the rooms can be hit-or-miss. Some of the standard rooms seem to be quite outdated and a bit rough around the edges – think things like mold and noisy AC. If you can, it's worth upgrading to a superior or king room, as those seem to be much better. Also, while it's a beachfront resort, the beach itself isn't necessarily the best for swimming. And just a heads up, there's no pool on the property.
So, to sum it up: Mango's is a good choice if you prioritize location and friendly service, especially if you're a diver. But, be sure to choose your room carefully, and don't expect a pristine beach for swimming.

MMaria AvenaI would like to commend Lee in the Restaurant for being so friendly and giving me an excellent customer service also the guy in Front Office he is really friendly, knowledgeable in his job. HOWEVER
1. The property has poor amenities. For instance, no bottled water but instead they prepared an empty container for you to get the water in the restaurant in water dispenser as really like a dorm or bed space set up or hostel set up.
2. You do not have toothbrush and toothpaste
3. No slipper
4. No floor towels anywhere.
I was thinking if Subic Park Hotel is now a hostel but when I checked it is a Hotel with a hostel set up. There are some properties inside Subic with cheaper prices but with complete amenities. Just saying.
Kudos to employees here by the way. They are delivering excellent customer service even the property has poor service.
