Nieuview Cottages 1 and 2

The accommodation was great, but the beach area deteriorated since we've been there 4 years ago. We arrived on a Sunday and the beach was full of drunken people, street had drunken drivers racing and spinning all over and the beach was just left in that state late afternoon. All the rubbish was just left behind, which I assume was washed into the sea at high tide that evening. Sad state of how things deteriorated. I will not be back (although the flatlet was great, if only it was at a different location)

The apartment's facilities and location were perfect. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Walk onto the beach from this great apartment. Bird life abounds. It is small but clean and has all you need. Friendly greeting. Lovely escape. The only complaint was the lack of a door on the toilet. Otherwise, I would recommend it.

Up market modern luxury apartment with enough privacy. On the beach and strolling distance to restaurant and shopping.

Stunning views and perfect location. Cleanliness terrible. DSTV did not work. Reported it but not resolved during the weekend.

We wereon a girls trip. This accommodation is righton the beach with the most beautiful garden and sea view. The rooms are soundproof, once inside oine cannot her the sea. Rooms are beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Staff were on hand to provide a braai when requested. I would have loved to stay longer and will definitely be back.

We went to rest and did that. Beautiful place that have everything available for a great home when away from home.

Carina and I just love the venue - Carina threatened to stay and send me back to Bloemfontein. It was awesome. And hatting to Ben le Roux about D Sqn 2 SAI Bn Gp in Walvis Bay - many memories. The venue and facilities are top notch!

Nieuview Cottage 3 - Very disappointed to stay in a beach property with minimum windows/views on to the ocean, nor sunsets. As for content more attention to detail is needed, never got the safe to work, bedding very worn (duvet cover) and fitted bed sheet too small, wheels falling off the sun beds, crockery & cutlery need upgrading (only 2 bowls), settee has a rip on the arm, dirty indoor braai grill, no instructions for appliances and the television barely showed anything!! The parking bays should be numbered as our neighbours took up two spaces when they arrived whilst we were out. Loadshedding needs to be addressed, there is also no alarm and no shower, just a bath in the bedroom. The toilet door did not fit very well and had to be slammed to keep shut. Certainly not the luxury accommodation we had been lead to believe it would be. NONE of our comments were addressed during our 6 night stay and the lady who opened up our apartment did not seem very interested in our comments. Nieuview Cottage 3 was expensive given all its faults, it did not meet our expectations and we felt it was the poor relation of the three properties. We would not consider staying here again next year.
