Outstanding stay. We had read the mixed reviews and were a little concerned. We had nothing but excellent service. Starting with John and the Valet team. We were escorted to Club Lounge for check in. Patty in the Club Lounge was warm, welcoming, friendly and asked about reservations she could help secure. The Club is an experience in and of itself. The grab and go pantry at the entrance offers a variety of chips, snacks, candy bars, water, soft drinks, juice, coffee 24 hours a day. Breakfast is outstanding. A station that has special offerings as well as made to order eggs. Fruits, yogurt, cereal, breads, bagel, pastries, and hot items that include bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes and oatmeal just to name a few. And all the accoutrements you could want. The offerings at lunch are mini sandwiches, a variety of greens and vegetables and delish dressings. Fruit and cheeses. Pastry items. Hot lunch items as well as soup. Hors d’oeuvres are spectacular. Sea bass with artichoke was an offering one night. It was the best sea bass I have ever had. Always a generous offering of salad, meats, cheese and hot options (meatballs, lobster Mac & cheese). The desserts are always a special treat. Mike, the bartender, makes a fabulous cocktail. Some of our favorites were sidecar, special old fashioned, and the best dirty martini’s. Clariel went above and beyond to make sure we had anything we wanted. We thought our room was ideal. We were in 1151. Great view of sunset and the ocean and the pools. We enjoyed the balcony immensely. Housekeeping was twice daily which was a nice touch. We cannot wait to return. Our stay was fabulous.
