Hani Hideaway

Very beautiful hotel.. excellent service. it is located near by ferry. They have only 8 rooms so personal attention is given. They customize the breakfast everyday. Enjoyed staying there. WiFi is okay in the room. They also give free bicycles to rent.

We came to stay here because we knew the staff from other villas we’ve stayed at, and it was divine. Very close to the harbour, this place is a lush oasis nestled in the heart of Gili Air. The team are wonderful- knowledgeable and friendly. Rooms are beautifully decorated and clean, and the upstairs lounge and dining are is the perfect place to start and end the day. The lagoon style pool wraps around a huge mango tree and is so relaxing to sit in. We loved the two resident cats, Hunni and Bunni, who are cared for by the staff. Thank you for having us, we will definitely be back.

I was initially drawn to stay here from the beautiful decor and amazing reviews.. Both are very accurate in real life! As soon as we stepped into Hadi Hideaway we knew we’d picked the perfect place to stay, I said to my boyfriend this is how I imagine heaven to be. It was so peaceful, beautiful and serene. The staff were all so kind and welcoming. Like they say, make you feel like family! The service was comparable to a high 5 star hotel. Before you arrive they invite you to a WhatsApp to keep in contact throughout your stay which was very helpful. Food and drinks including breakfast was delicious. Amazing flat white too! Perfect location, 5 minutes from the harbour. I felt so grateful and lucky to experience a holiday on Gili Air and to stay at Hani Hideaway, one of, if not the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. This place is a real gem. From the staff meeting us at the port, to surprising us with hand written notes and looking after us and making sure everything was just right. The room was absolutely perfect, the turnover service was faultless, the romantic meal was superb and the staff were some of the politest, friendliest, warmest people we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and staying with. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Best stay ever. Ikin and the Hani family made us feel home. Everything was perfect. We arrived early and Ikin offered us the breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is as described. The food is amazing (we had diner for our second night). You really feel like home. Would definitely recommend.

Hani Hideaway is faultless. We cannot believe this place has only been open one year. Our stay began with a lovely staff member meeting us at the harbour to assist with our bags. It was a short walk (5 mins) to Hani Hideaway from the harbour. On arrival, we were welcomed by staff with smiles & a drink - which was most appreciated! We were given a map of the island with recommended activities & local eateries/bars. Our bungalow was immaculately clean and well-serviced throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed lounging on our terrace, where food & drinks can be enjoyed overlooking the pool. Hani Hideaway offers guests free usage of bikes to cycle around the island - we loved this! Our private snorkelling trip (arranged by Hani) was a particular highlight! Eating in the restaurant was tremendous, with multiple delicious options on offer, meaning we ate there each night! The true asset of this place is the staff and the homely, family atmosphere created. Johnny served us frequently, and he was just wonderful. We have stayed in several places in and around Bali, and this was by far the best. To anyone considering whether Gili Air is worth the extra distance on the boat, do it & stay at Hani Hideaway - the highlight of our holiday!

Hani hideaway is run by an amazing team of lovely people. There were so many beautiful touches, like each time we returned we were welcomed home by the people in reception. There’s a beautiful atmosphere here. Gili Air is an incredible island. We had the best time here - highly recommend Mama’s Pizza and 3W Dive to try Scuba. The Hani Hideaway team will welcome you with a map and loads of good recommendations.
