Quality Inn & Suites

Both times I've stayed here this past year, I've had to wait about 20 minutes before getting my room because they were still cleaning. That's fine, doesn't bother me. I get what understaffed and overworked feels like, so I recommend showing up about an hour AFTER check-in. With this trip, our bathroom door didn't latch, the toilet barely flushed, the bathroom smelled kind of weird, the TV only got 2 channels, the hot tub was down so that was kind of a bummer, but the real kicker was how funky our blankets and sheets smelled. Both my boyfriend and I noticed it when we first got into bed but didn't say anything about it until it just came up in conversation the next morning. We chalked it up to the cross country group that booked out the hotel the night before, but you'd think a good wash would take the smell of B.O. out of the blanket. Honestly, I doubt they were actually washed. Anyway, at least the staff was nice.

The breakfast selection was perfect. But the room cleanliness needed to be a lot better. After checking around the room, I found a huge spider in its nest attached to the wall and ac unit. I was not surprised the cleaners did not notice it; all floor by the walls were hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. I showed the front desk the nest, and we were put in a different room. The room still looked half-heartedly cleaned, with dust and dirt buildup around the edge of the room. And the TV would change its volume. I hope this hotel can implement a better cleaning system with their rooms.

The Quality Inn was close to my activity, clean, safe, affordable and there were multiple eating places close by.

To begin. They treated my wife as an imbecile. We had just moved to out of state but had to come back one final time for a dance recital and move our daughter away. Since our driver license still had Peoria address, she was told she couldn’t check in. When my wife explained that we moved one week earlier, and couldn’t get a new DL yet, she was not spoken to with kindness or empathy, but with a person holding up a form saying it’s the rules. It’s policy. If it’s policy then make to clear, but I’ve never heard of a horrendous policy. Then to speak to my wife in such as way, like she was lying about not living there. How horrible to make her feel like a liar.

Room AC units are very loud. even when I stopped mine because of noise,neighbor machine s noise made me not able to sleep.

Wonderful, friendly staff here....My room was very clean, and the beds are super comfortable. Nice set back property so feels secure. Good breakfast

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great each morning. All employees were professional and friendly. Two out of three visits to the pool, there were no pool towels. It also seems as though locals used the pool but were not staying at the hotel as they knocked on the exterior door to be let in, instead of using a room key on the interior door. The pool water also seemed to be quite dirty from our observations and comparisons to other pools we frequent. It appeared that the pool filters may have been out of order. Overall, a fair value and a some room for improvement. If on a tight budget, would consider staying again.

Website site crib were available and when we arrived front desk did not know of this and no crib available. Rest of room and pool was nice

Came home to Peoria for a graduation. After a 13 hr drive I needed to check in early to make it to the graduation. I called ahead to ask if possible, the staff was extremely accommodating. They let me know that the room wasn't ready and they worked to get it cleaned!! I made it to the graduation on time!! Hotel was clean and breakfast was good!! Thanks for making my trip a success!!
