Hotel Peralada Wine Spa & Golf

What can I say? A+ service at this hotel. It’s extremely peaceful, beautiful, and the staff was amazing. I saw different types of parties there from bachelorette luncheons, to couples, to families. I myself was there for a solo birthday trip. I relaxed at the spa (it’s quite lovely) and walked along the grounds. I also took the time to visit the Peralada Cellar and the Castle ******. All worth visiting. Very high end and the rooms were large, clean, with beautiful views. 100% recommend.

We celebrated our anniversary in hotel Perelada spa and wine. Words can not express the beauty of the place, the little details, the fresh smell, the serenity of swimming pool. Every thing that a couple can ask is there, excellent food, wine and winery, spa, amazing day trips and above all the staff service was above and beyond. I would like to note Mr. Alberto Falsetta that made our stay perfect. He arranged the best spa treatment after a misunderstanding and greeted us goodbye with bootle of wine. There are many hotels but this hotel is one of the fewest that makes you want to go back as soon as you leave. I can’t wait to bring my family with me next anniversary.

We were in a house in the region, and we were looking for something nice to eat and ended up on the site of this hotel. On their site, Castell Peralada restaurant, which has been awarded a Michelin star, is one of the restaurants where you can eat. Reading about that and the fact that Toni Gerez is now the host there made us decide to book both hotel and restaurant. Upon checking in, we soon found out that the restaurant was not in the hotel, but a 30-minute walk away. I assumed that the hotel would provide transportation to and from the restaurant. Lots of back and forth, and it turned out to be possible. I was obviously surprised that we had to discuss this; a 5-star hotel should have something like this arranged. Also, suggesting something on your site is very misleading when you don't have it. I also did not understand the story that it was in the castle and not in the hotel. Indeed I don't know that the hotel is not a castle. But anyway. Our room was spotless and equipped with a large, comfortable bed and a more than a neat bathroom with a bath and shower. We had a lovely wine at the bar by the pool and then got ready for a lovely evening in the restaurant. As agreed, we were at the reception desk at the appointed time for our shuttle to the restaurant. When I checked in, I was told in no uncertain terms that a shuttle back could not be arranged; they only did that on weekends. It became a back and forth chattered again, and I was fed up; I said I'll arrange it myself, bye! Once at the restaurant, the host Toni Gerez arranged the transportation, and to my surprise, the hotel shuttle showed up again; why all the hassle. By the way, we slept wonderfully. In the morning, we enjoyed breakfast served at the table. The hotel is beautiful and modern; they just need to send the front desk on a course in hospitality that belongs to people who are used to 5-star hotels.

I stayed two nights on a business trip to the Emporda wine region and was fortunate enough to be accommodated in this really nice hotel. The place is classy through and through with very friendly staff and my room (218) on the second floor had a nice balcony overlooking the driving range. The room was spacious with elegant fixtures and fittings, a very comfortable double bed light wooden flooring and a large bathroom with a big bath tub, separate walk in shower and bidet. The room had all you could ask for and excellent coffee from the "Nespresso" machine. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate, some items available form a central buffet and others available on request. The hotel was quite busy with weekend golfers but never gave the impression of being crowded. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the property is everything that should be expected of a luxury resort. I would certainly come back if in the area again.

This property far exceeds my expectations. It is a dream resort. I feel so relaxed.

Pleasant experience but no wow factor. The staff on the front desk and concierge were professional and helpful, however some of the staff in the restaurant were long faced and indifferent. The pool area was quiet and relaxing while we were there however it looked a bit neglected and could do with some TLC.

Hotel Perelada was a wonderful, peaceful place to start a road trip. We had two nights in the hotel and played one round golf. The staff in the hotel, restaurant and pro shop/caddy master were all really welcoming and very helpful - nothing was too much for them. I hope we have chance to stay here again.

Food was great! Rooms are excellent! Staff went above and beyond to assist us! First rate experience from arrival to departure.
