Aeolos Beach Resort

Loved the resort. Food was consistently good and varied choice daily but could bank on regulars when wanted. Room was large with balcony and sea view. May be an idea to provide a small bottle of water daily free of charge for the kettle. Entertainment was good and enjoyable. The swimming pools were clean and not too busy. All the snack outlets were really good , just wish we knew about the free crepe outlet before last 2 days of our vacation. Would suggest this was staffed with someone who can speak English or least know the names of probably only 8 ingredients in the 4 common languages. The pool special restaurant could make it clearer that the all inclusive wine is available and not just the purchase wine list. The beach restaurant was more up front about this. The stones in the sea near the shore were a big down size. Maybe invest some time and money to remove these for an improved beach experience. Was amazed at the number of fish really close to the beach , this was a snorkeling treat. Would also highly recommend that any visitors bring some effective mosquito deterrent and treatments as there are loads especially at night time. Would definitely recommend the resort for families and couples and would go again.

Great hotel, fab entertainment - Jacob and the team really made our holiday - nice food and very clean rooms and gardens. Easy access to a small beautiful beach. A few small improvements we would suggest - the floor around the kids pool was very hard and all our children had cuts and blisters on their toes snd hands. We loved our room and the view was some spectacular but The beds are quite hard. If we return we wouldn’t bother with the a la cart restaurants as not really geared up for kids and portions very small. The main restaurant buffet is much better. The beach pizza and pasta cafe was great and the kids loved the beach snack shack for chocolate crepe. All the staff are great and very helpful - thanks to all!

The best holiday I have ever been on, hotel was absolutely stunning I wish we could have stayed longer, such a big place with so much to do and so much to see, staff so friendly and hotel was just simply stunning. cannot wait to return!

We had such a fantastic time at this resort! The views are amazing, food is varied with different places to eat. We particularly liked the pizza/pasta lunch down at the beach restaurant. The A La Carte offering there at dinner wasn’t the best, we really enjoyed the other A La Carte restaurant for dinner though. You are allowed one dinner in each per stay. Really good all inclusive drinks including Prosecco, aperol spritz and loads of other cocktails, beer and wine. Branded spirits too. A lot better than other all inclusive offerings. You can pick bottles of wine at dinner and take to your table in the buffet which is a nice touch. Entertainment team are fanatic! Jacob and the team do such a good job at keeping everyone entertained by the pool during the day and night time entertainment too such as the music quiz which was great, boom box collective also fantastic. Rooms were lovely and again great view of the quieter pool and sea. Sometimes a bad smell in the corridor but didn’t notice in our room. More than 1 bottle of water could be offered per stay, it is available to buy in the bars though or there is a shop by the beach down the hill. Bed could have been more comfortable too. The buggies were a lovely touch too, you could call one to drive you round as it is quite hilly. Bus to town only €1.60 each way and you can buy tickets in the shop. We also hired a car for one day from the place down the hill at the beach. Lovely resort and would return, we were told they are developing it further too so would like to go back in the future!

This hotel was the best hotel I have stayed in to date. The staff could not be more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was five star. Two restaurants on site in top of the main restaurant. Snack bars and one just on the beach. We do not eat cheese so they made us a freshly made pizza cheese free. The kids club was run but the amazing Kim who my Granddaughter loved. Kids disco every night at 8.30pm she loved plus evening entertainment for all. Views are breathtaking and two infinity pools with beautiful views. Our room was spotless with an option for a daily cleaning service. Cannot stress enough how this hotel was worth every penny. Had a great trip to Aeolos Beach Resort at back end of May, staying in a 2 bedroom family suite. The staff are excellent throughout and that makes a big difference to the experience, while all were great Karabo from the kids-club and in particular Mary from the Concierge desk were brilliant. The food was generally good. We skipped the Asian themed night on the advice of a few people. There was enough variation on the main buffet, the a-la-carte restaurants while more restrictive were decent (and there was a kids menu available that proved sufficient for our 6&8 year olds). The one meal that we paid more for [EUR120pp] was the Eros dinner, down at the end of the pier on the beach - that was a very memorable meal and it was good that we could arrange baby sitting to enjoy that just as adults. The food and service for that was absolutely exceptional; if anything there was too much food, which is something that I’d not normally ever say. The site and rooms were very clean and all seemed very well maintained. We took a couple of trips out - one to Corfu Town and another to Mouse Island (and to watch the planes going overhead) and were glad that we did both. You can get the city bus from outside the hotel (although the timetable is more of a guide than something set in stone). Cost is EUR2 if you buy tickets from the hotel, although you can get on the bus too. As others have mentioned it is a steep site and things are a little spaced out, which is a good thing. You can get a buggy to get around, but if you had mobility restrictions then I can see that being an issue. If you want to hire beach/pool towels, which I’d recommend as you can get them replaced whenever you want… but you need to pay the EUR10 deposit in cash and not by card, which I know caught a few people out as there isn’t an ATM on site. Others have mentioned the need to pay for water, which I believe that you do for bottles. We bought from the shop adjacent to the beach to have in the room just in case. There was sufficient free water in the restaurants and at meal times (and non bottled water at other times) anyhow. Overall, I’d happily go back to Corfu again and to return to Aeolos Beach. My son who discovered that with all-inclusive you can have repeated trips to get crepes from the beach bar definitely would!

Hotel is extremely picturesque. Set on a hillside surrounded by beautiful greenery. Is set in quite a large area and there can be a significant amount of steep areas while walking around. May not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties however there are golf buggies readily available manoeuvring guests from A to B. All communal areas are exceptionally clean and cleaning is continual all day every day, especially the toilets (which is essential due to Greece not allowing toilet paper down the loo-hence can be smelly bins!). Rooms are also cleaned daily to a high standard. Restaurant we visited was the buffet style (there are others but did not visit so cannot comment). Food was varied across 7 days…we stayed for 10 so noticed the repetition. However there was always plenty to choose from, the bread was amazing, warm in the morning. Do not drink alcohol so could not comment on that but did notice that the soft drinks were watered down which was a shame. Water was given in the room on arrival only and was not replenished, however water was available in restaurants and bars but would’ve been a nice touch to have some replenished in the room daily. Entertainment team were friendly but not intrusive. They were polite but did not pester if you were not interested. Family pool area did have music playing in 2 places which was a little irritating as could half hear both.

Spent a week here after a cruise. Nice hotel with many good points. but also a few bad as well. Firstly the good. Very friendly staff in the main. Restaurant staff, and bar staff particularly Anthi, Eleni and Theressalmos (definitely wrong spelling but he knows who I mean) were fantastic at the pool bar. These three deserve a big pay rise. Unfortunately the reception staff were useless and unfriendly and the wine waiter in the poolside restaurant was very rude. But apart from these few, the rest were very friendly. Food was good with a lot of mediterrean dishes that sometimes we did not recognise. We eat in the two a la carte restaurants and basically wished we hadn't bothered. Strange menus with sharing statrters and then a choice of main course. But my wife is allergic to fish and cheese and really struggled to find anything she could eat. Such a pity because the beach snack bar during the day would make up fresh pasta dishes to order which were delicious. Why the evening menu there could not have included this option is disappointing. Animation team and evening entertainment was good but would have preferred more live music rather thanthe anumation team doing shows. Plenty of sunbeds but would hate to see the hotel if it was at peak capacity. All in all, we enjoyed our week and would travel there again, but wouldn't bother with the a la cartes and would avoid the reception staff and the woman looking after wine lol.

DONT BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. Just back from 10 night stay at aeolos beach resort, and was fantastic. Good points, very very clean, staff are amazing and most are very friendly. Pool was cleaned every day and the staff work hard and long hours with a smile and happy to help. Decent drinks, some brand names to. Plenty of sunbeds although you still get people out early putting towels on then not returning for over 2 hours or more!! Built on a hill some some steep points but they are happy to get a buggy to ferry you around if willing to wait as they are also busy. Food was plentiful and a good variety. Breakfast you can get a full English or the chef will prepare omelets fresh for you. Again they work long hours but saying good morning and how are you, they will respond and happy to see you. Each and every staff member was amazing 👏 Bad point (single issue) they use heat lamps to keep food hot, but sometimes this is not enough and dried out the food, but always something to eat and tasty (if nothing you fancy, check out the kids food section). Had an amazing time, night time bar staff were great and made it very enjoyable. The entertainment team also engaged with the guests so join in, you'll enjoy it more !! All on all we had the best time, thanks to all the staff who made our holiday special ❤️ 9 out of 10 from me, just the use of heat lamps instead of hotplate was an issue for me.
