Great location in a calm, tranquil village about 30 minutes by bus from Larnaca. Short walk from the beach. Nice Mediterranean and Western breakfast, and restaurant available throughout the day and evening. Was kindly upgraded to a garden suite, so not sure what the main hotel rooms are like. Staff very polite and helpful Only issue was my booking was for one person, but included breakfast for two. Tried to get this changed by Trip.com and the hotel, but both parties put the responsibility on the other and the issue didn't get resolved

My room was clean, bed was comfortable, air-con worked really well. Great views over the pool & sea. Breakfast was reasonable. The pool area is very nice & well appointed, there’s plenty of sunbeds / cabanas around The staff were very friendly & helpful. The hotel is in a quiet location & the beach is only a few mins walk away. Larnaca is 25 mins away in a taxi. If you want a quiet, chilled out place that’s good value for money, this could be the hotel / area for you. If you’re after local nightlife within walking distance then maybe not!

So we stayed in larnaca for 6 nights at the E Hotel resort and spa. We had to stomach it as we had no choice but we complained every day. It was filthy. Old. Falling apart. The wheel on the bed broke so they called maintenance who came and instead of trying to fix it, they decided to break the other legs wheel. Which meant the bed was then at an angle. I’ll add some photos but if you’ve booked here, cancel! The lifeguard doesn’t understand that people are on holiday. She hates the sunbeds being moved. She had a go at me on the first day. She just sits at the side of the pool all day smoking one cigarette after another and drinking coffee. It was awful. We were only given one bath towel a day when there were 4 of us staying in the room. Every time we asked for more they would huff and puff and say they would send more up but they never did until it was too late so we had to hide the towels but then they would take them and not replace them. The room when we first walked in has balls of hair in the corners of the room. The breakfast, omg don’t get me started. I wouldn’t even call it continental. It was diabolical. There’s just no love put into anything. The room phone didn’t work. We complained and were basically told that 80% of the phones don’t work. We told them about all our complaints and they basically said oh well unfortunately we can’t do anything. Awful hotel!! We are now in Protaras for 15 days at the Malama holiday village and it is luxury. Clean, staff are friendly and plenty of them. Just beautiful. Shame about the first party of our holiday.

The hotel infrastructure is good and it is conveniently located, but service is absimal. The place is totally understaffed, any request takes forever, shower drain pipe was clogged. It's dirty and unsanitary (there was a spoiled diaper floating on a mini pool next to the reception for an entire day). Air conditioning is old and takes forever to cool. Avoid!

I stayed here for five nights and have rather mixed feelings. My overall impression was the hotel was trying to impress, but failed somewhat. For the price, I expected a bit more. Though there was a kettle in the room with two cups and one teabag when I arrived, the cups were never changed not washed during my stay (other than by me with the limited means available), nor was the teabag replaced. A minor detail, I concede, but one that could easily have been improved. The room itself was a good size and the bed was comfortable. However, the balcony was tiny and there was no way to dry a towel or bathing costume. I went to the pool once. It was fairly calm as there were few people at the time. However, there was an unpleasant smell of urine coming from the greenery near my lounger. The night staff at reception were considerably friendlier than the daytime manager, who was rather unhelpful. As there is a lack of nearby restaurants, I ate in the hotel three evenings. The cooked meals I had were of satisfactory quality but the chicken salad was most unappetising. There was no bread provided as an accompaniment. The waitress didn't have a clue what an espresso coffee was, though I did receive one in the end! There was a wide choice at breakfast, but I had the impression that some of the produce was served several days on the run. The fruit and pastries looked rather worse for wear. Be aware that the phonic insulation is non-existent and you can hear every move and sound made by your neighbours, which can be rather disconcerting!

This was one of the worst travel experiences I have ever had. I felt like I was on a hidden camera game show. First, our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait over 4 hours for it. Second, the hotel is not close to any restaurants or stores so you have to eat at the hotel restaurant. Be prepared to wait hours for a simple dish. Most of the staff was pretty accommodating but the best were Priet and Daniela. They were always so friendly and helpful. We were there for a wedding and the venue was still dirty for the previous event that was over 2 weeks before that. The breakfast is ok, however the ceiling above the restaurant did fall in and some of our friends had to change rooms due to safety concerns. I will say on the day of the event, the staff did a great job pulling everything together and the venue and food were very nice. Be careful with the hotel manager- I think his name is Vassos. He was very condescending and did not take responsibility for anything and blamed his staff. Overall, I would not book this hotel ever again and refer it to a friend or enemy.
