Area was great and felt safe to walk around. Wasn’t far from the metro which was easy to access Lincoln Financial Field and Wells Fargo Center. Only downside was the bed was very firm but my husband loved it. I found the pull out sofa to be more comfortable.

It was my first time at this Sonder. Lived up to my expectations of most Sonders. The neighborhood doesn’t have much around it but it is great if you wish to escape and not be disturb. Furthermore, the neighbor is right next to Old City and Nothern libs, so if you like partying in those neighborhoods, this is a great location. Additionally, do not come here with a car, you will not find parking and if you do, you will have to wake up very early and move it so you do not get a ticket.

Absolute disaster is all I can say about the Sonder Edison and it wouldn’t surprise me if the rest of their properties are the same. The selling point for the hotel is a great concept, an apartment hotel for those who want the conveniences of home while traveling such as business travelers or families. however I’m pretty sure this is used as long term affordable housing and a party hotel, despite the booking rules specifically not allowing partying. We saw lots of shady activity and security did absolutely nothing about it. Since you can’t get anyone on the phone and there is no staff on property you have to use their app to chat with them. We chatted them 4 times regarding noise from our neighbors. One was a “family” down the hall that easily had at least 8 people in it and was literally a revolving door. Screaming children, yelling adults, banging dishes and slamming doors were constant. The people above us sounded like a troop of elephants doing calisthenics. The construction in this absolute turd of a building is so cheap that you can hear the water from apartments above to the point that it sounds like it’s raining in your room. The front door didn’t close all the way (see picture). Finally at 11 pm we packed up and left for another hotel. The “staff” at the Sonder was good for nothing more than excuses and “we’re working on it”. DO NOT stay at this or any Sonder property under any circumstances!!!!

We just returned from a week in Philly staying at The Edison. We thoroughly enjoyed our time! We were traveling with our 16 and 13 year old. Plenty of space and loved the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom option. Only downside was the beds were extremely firm. We are not used to that at all. The noise level did not bother us but we did use the earplugs provided by Sonder. Our flight was delayed upon arrival which resulted us getting to The Edison close to 2 am. We had no issues with the electronic key set up in the app. We also had to reach out via messaging on the Sonder app due to a shower and chair issue. We got an immediate response and both items were resolved before we returned from our day of sightseeing. The washer and dryer were amazing and allowed us to pack light. Our family truly enjoyed the rooftop area at night. It is a beautiful way to enjoy the city. Only negative thing was parking. We rented car for one day only and we ended up at the impound lot the next day. There was absolutely no parking that night. We thought we were in a safe spot. We only used the car to take a day trip to Valley Forge and Lancaster. It was well worth the short drive. But lot after lot was full. Spot Angel was not truly accurate. However, this is not a Sonder issue, this was a city issue. So many places to visit within walking distance! Lastly, we came from a small, coastal town in South Carolina. We were concerned about safety and if this was a safe location? I would say, no matter where you are, you always need to be alert. But we never felt unsafe here. The location was just perfect!

This place was amazing as a base to exploring Philadelphia. Rooms were perfect for sleeping, and our kids loved the black out window shades. Public transport is within walking distance, as are many of the cities top sites.

Ottimo appartamento, situato in una zona abbastanza tranquilla, 6/7 minuti a piedi dal centro storico. Noi abbiamo soggiornato in un appartamento con due camere da letto e doppio bagno, zona living ampia con cucina. Ottimo la zona lavanderia con asciugatrice, la stessa ci ha permesso di effettuare dei lavaggi ai nostri indumenti dopo la nostra sosta di 7 giorni a Nyc. Cucina fornita di pentola e piatti per poter cucinare. Manca solo l’olio.

Ho avuto inizialmente problemi comunicativi con l’amministrazione che poi si sono risolti molto più facilmente del previsto. Ho prenotato per 2 famiglie un appartamento e mi è stato dato un appartamento con due stanze da letto piccole, una cucina con la penisola un salotto con una specie di tavolino basso dove in teoria saremmo stati appoggiati a mangiare seduti sul divano esso. Una penisola con 2 sedie sltr intorno ad essa

Viaje con mi mujer y mi bebe de 2 años y nos alojamos 3 noches en este apartamento. Su ubicación aunque no es totalmente céntrica esta bastante bien, andando a Reading terminal market y al Independence hall son 10 minutos exactos, tienes una estación a 300 metros. El metro de Filadelfia solo tiene 2 lineas es muy sencillo de utilizar. Los apartamentos son totalmente nuevos, equipados con todo lo necesario, cuidan todos los detalles, te dejan para hacerte incluso café, tiene menaje, secador, tv aire acondicionado, calefacción, cocina totalmente equipada, lavadora con secadora que nos fue muy útil para lavar ropa y tenerla seca al momento, lavavajillas, todo. El barrio está genial, es un barrio tranquilo, nosotros volvíamos andando por la noche con el carrito del bebe y ningún problema, como digo es un barrio de nuevo auge. Tiene Wifi gratuito y televisor smart tv con internet también. Tiene un rooftop que puedes acceder y es bastante chulo. La única pega que si cocinas y sale el mas mínimo humo salta la alarma de incendios, a nosotros nos pasó haciendo una pizza en el horno, esto por poner alguna pega, porque la verdad estuvo genial y repetiríamos. Y cualquier problema o duda y escribes por su la aplicación de Sonder y te la resuelven en seguida.

Ficamos nesse apartamento 3 dias. O lugar é espaçoso com dois quartos grandes e dois banheiros, novo e super bem localizado. Em média 8-10 dólares de Uber para os principais pontos turísticos da Philadelphia. Adoramos, super recomendado.
