Alicia's Inn

The staff was very very friendly I went for my bday they surprised me. They did the room and also left wine and messages for me. We were recommended to this Inn at a last minute due to an unsatisfactory situation at another place they made me feel at home. I’ll definitely be back I would recommend Alicia’s Inn to anyone. Oh my, after all the glowing reviews, what else can I add? It was perfect for our stay of several nights! Location, convenience, super clean, cost, and the best part was the smiling team of hostesses who made us laugh every day. Barbara, Jeanina, Marlene, and Chelsey---THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! There is a grocery store about a 1-minute walk, we got snacks and wine there. For breakfast/lunch Le Cafe' French Bakery and Restaurant on the Boardwalk was a 4-minute walk. Yum! The Greenhouse and the Lazy Lizard were good casual restaurants that were not overrun by too many loud tourists and played music at a decent level. Both were a 4–5-minute walk from Alica's. Chesterfields Restaurant and Bar was about a 15-minute walk towards the Port. Very, good, not crowded (lunch), has an open-air area that overlooks the pretty marina. Alica's Inn is so close to so many venues that we did not need a car. What a great start for our holiday! Kim

Fantastic place to stay in the heart of Phillipsburg! Close to the boardwalk, shopping and the beach. Staff members were friendly and efficient and did everything to ensure our visit met our expectations - it actually exceeded them. We will definitely stay here again if we fly into SXM early or extend our vacation a few days.

We stayed here before and after our cruise, and Barbara couldn't be friendlier or more helpful! The rooms were more than adequate, with a safe, microwave, small coffeemaker, and shower dispensers. They gave us beach towels to take out, which was very handy, and recommendations for good local food.

The room was quiet and clean. I had everything I was told I would have. Any minor concerns were immediately addressed and rectified. I was given tips on exploring and arranging transportation. The staff could not have done better. They were fantastic, very friendly and kind. The proximity to shops, the beach, restaurants and excursions was all within an easy walking distance. I checked out and was able to leave my luggage there as my flight was later in the day. I can't say enough about how great my experience was!

I stayed at Alicia's Inn for 4 nights in September 2023. The location is perfect right in the centre of Philipsburg, the broadwalk, beaches and the harbours are very close by. The staff has been extremely hospitable and helpful during my stay here. They are some of the most friendly people, I know. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Philipsburg.

As prices continue to rise and vacations in paradise become out of reach - this is a gem to discover. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are super clean and have everything you need - fridge, AC, small table, big closet and safe. Let's talk location - two small blocks from the beach, right on one of the main streets. You can walk everywhere and find shopping nearby. We will definitely keep this spot in mind if we can swing another trip to SXM. If you want an ocean view, this is not the spot for you, but if you are out and about and don't want to break the bank, BOOK IT :)

First you must know that P-burg is a cruise town. Meaning everything closes after 4pm. I found it super convenient as I can relax on the beach, and then sleep at night with no party noise, all while being in the middle of the action. Prices for food in the local restaurant are a bit steep, but the quality is excellent. Everyone is very friendly. The Alicia Inn is a very nice tiny hotel. Clean, good internet, most conveniences, AC, hot water, etc. They have laundry and they close the main door at night. Tiny but cosy. Nothing royal, but I think it's an excellent value for the price they ask. Very well recommended!

Thank you Morlene and Barbara. You are both great hosts. Clean, safe room. 5 minute walk to boardwalk, grocery or bank. Front Street is one block away. Frequent busses are at the door to take you just about anywhere on the island. Taxi to pier was $10 or less. Taxi from airport was $20. Thank you for all your knowledge and kindness. I would stay here again.
