Cape Sienna Gourmet Hotel & Villas

We had a really nice time at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked the honeymoon suite, which was great, very spacious and comes with everything you need and want and the views from the hotel are stunning. There is a fully stocked minibar. There is also room service by scanning a QR code in the room, but oddly, no beverages, you need to call from the room phone to order them. An evening service is provided where they light incense in the bathroom area - be careful to put your do not disturb sign on if you dont want housekeeping entering! The main pool is in the middle of the dining area, which we found strange. We preferred the pool down the road attached to Sienna Rocks café. It's a large and busy hotel, which we prefer to avoid. It's located at the top of a hill just off the main stretch of Kamala, which was nice for us as we like to be away from the main area. This hotel is not suitable for anyone with difficulties with stairs, there are a lot of stairs and we needed to carry our suitcases up and down 1 flight before getting to the elevator. The gym has a variety of equipment but again, busy in the mornings so you might need alternative moves. There were never any towels to wipe down the equipment when we went. The food & drink at the poolside restaurant were great and Vanilla Sky bar was nice too. We didn't go to the steakhouse restaurant as there weren't vegetarian options. The breakfast is really nice, a good variety of options and their omelette station is great! However, breakfast was always very busy, you were dodging people for most of it. Kamala is a very busy beach; we didn't like it so we travelled to surin beach and got a boat to another beach that was quieter for a few hours. We struggled to get a Grab taxi back to the airport at the end of our stay but the hotel concierge got us one in less than 5 minutes. Overall, a lovely stay and we really enjoyed it, but beware the busyness.

The hotelroom was big, we had a great view of the sea. The hotel has 6 buildings soo we had to walk through the other buildings to get to our room. The location is not very convenient, but the hotel offers a shuttle bus to the beach, however there were only 3 times and the latest pickup time was 16:00 which is kinda early if you want to see the sunset. We had lots of small ants in our room that was not very pleasing.

the view was nice and staff were friendly. But the room is facing the main street and wasnt high enough, which the noise might be an issue. feels like the hotel still got some room to improve in terms of staff, arrangements and everything.

The place is beautiful with a perfect view of the ocean. Food is good. The only and biggest problem was the ants and insects. I had to change a room once . Do expect ants everywhere you go. If this is not a problem for you, it is a great place to stay

Lovely hotel with nice rooms and view. Stayed over 6 times since 2013. Will visit again. Highly recommended

the area is isolated away from the busy street of patong. u will feel relaxed n sea view is great hotel staff is warm n friendly breakfast is nice as well

Here are some key takeaways from my visit: 1. Scenic Views: The panoramic sea views from the penthouse are undoubtedly breathtaking. However, it's important to note that direct beach access is not available, which might be a consideration for beach enthusiasts. 2. Dining Experience: The breakfast options were quite limited during my stay. I found myself restricted to scrambled eggs each morning, which was a bit disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. 3. Service: The staff at the hotel maintained a professional demeanor, but I felt a warmer, more proactive engagement was lacking. Guests are often required to initiate interactions, which might not meet everyone's expectations of hospitality. 4. In-Room Dining*: While in-room breakfast is available for a nominal fee of 40 baht, the lack of a proper dining setup on the terrace, such as a table and chairs, suggests that the hotel might not be fully equipped for in-room dining experiences. 5. Swimming Pool: The pool, although visually appealing, is quite small and shallow. It may not suit those looking to swim laps or enjoy more aquatic activities. 6. Accessibility: Access to the room can be a bit cumbersome as it involves climbing two flights of stairs to reach the elevators, which might be a concern for those with mobility issues. 7. Entertainment: Post-sunset, the ambiance at the hotel becomes notably subdued, with no scheduled activities or entertainment to keep guests engaged during the evening. 8. Policies: Upon check-in, a security deposit of 400 baht is required, and the process to reclaim this deposit at check-out was notably slow, which could be streamlined for better guest convenience. 9. Location: The hotel's location is somewhat remote from Phuket’s main attractions, which could lead to significant transportation costs via services like Grab and Bolt. This might be a deterrent for those looking to explore the vibrant scenes of old Phuket or other active spots. Conclusion: Cape Sienna Phuket Gourmet Hotel & Villas offers a retreat with stunning views and serene privacy but falls short in areas like dining diversity, guest engagement, and evening entertainment. Prospective visitors should weigh these aspects against the hotel's tranquil aesthetics and quiet charm.

Has to be my favourite place to stay in Phuket or Kamala:) great location on the cliff with amazing views and close to town! Rooms, pools, fitness centre is all top class! And the buffet breakfast is amazing also :)
