Excellent stop over place driving towards KZN north or neighboring countries. Tranquil, neat and cozy - away from the noisy highway traffic. Still close to everything though. Awesome facilities for a small and sleepy town. Great breakfast - this was an unexpected comfy stay. Great job by the owners.

This B and B is either new or has just been completely refurbished. The rates are very reasonable and the rooms are great. They were spotlessly clean and very roomy. It has a separate kitchenette, a separate toilet and a separate bathroom. There is a 32" LCD TV and plenty of cupboard space. It is well appointed and well run. The lady at the reception was very efficient, pleasant and accommodating. I will certainly be back.

We spent a night in Piet Retief as we drove from Durban to Kruger National Park. We were looking for a nice place to relax after a long drive, and this didn't disappoint. We had a lovely room overlooking a beautiful lawn and pool. It was modern, clean, and accommodated a family of 4 comfortably. Breakfast was also lovely in the morning - you can tell the staff here have tried very hard to create a lovely place for people to stay. Thank you!

The reception received from the care takers was outstanding, the room was in an immaculate condition, the breakfast was on point and above all the place is situated in a peaceful location.

The best guesthouse I have stayed in Piet Retief so far. Situated in a very quiet and safe part of town it was so nice to NOT hear trucks and traffic the whole night. The guesthouse is modern, comfortable and the rooms are beautifully renovated. The beds are super comfy, linen makes you feel like you are in a 5 star hotel. Everything you need and more in the beautiful rooms. I felt right at home from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to assist with all my requests. Lastly their breakfast is to die for, absolutely delicious and worth it, it is like a mini hotel buffet, we loved it. This will definitely be our preferred place to stay on our regular trips to Piet Retief.

Excellent room, the staff was very friendly, overall hospitality was great, we enjoyed a very nice breakfast. If ever needed again, we will chose B@Home Guest House for a sleep-over, and we will also recommend your place to other travelers.
