Kefalonia Bay Palace

Güzel tesis, güleryüzlü ve misafirperver personel. Yeşilliğin bakımında biraz dikkatsizlik.

Muhteşem manzaralar sunan sevimli otel. Rezervasyon onayı ve ön ödemeli statüsü olmasına rağmen Sami bölgesindeki başka bir otel bizi varışta (Dimitris Studios) hayal kırıklığına uğrattığı için burada sadece bir gece kaldı. Kefalonia Bay Palace bizim için günü kurtardı. Sadece birkaç saatlik konaklama ile bir oteli değerlendirmek zor ama birkaç saat mükemmeldi. Personel de mükemmel ama otel, yaklaşım ve iç mekanın tamamı dik tırmanışlara dayandığından güçlü bacaklar gerektiriyor.

The hotel is very pretty with stunning views of the seas, the wonderful staff who are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble - peaceful area short walk to the harbour for bars restaurants and supermarket along the coastline, would recommend

Wonderful views in a stunning location! Had a wonderful weekend stay with Friends. Rooms are clean with incredible views. Facilities in the Hotel was good, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely quiet location but within short walking distance to good restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. A perfect place to spend your time relaxing or taking an excursion (reception arranged this for us). I would highly recommend!

Splendid view from our hotel balcony. Panoramic sea vista. Loved it. Room was comfortable but dated. Hotel staff were friendly and the cleaners worked hard and kept rooms clean. Beds made daily. Excellent. The only down side was we booked half board and paid a lot extra for it. Breakfast was ok. Enough choice. The evening meal was extremely disappointing. The set menu was to say the least basic. Greek salad was good. However, the meals were very poor. One main meal was chicken leg with chips, nothing else. Looked like a child’s dinner. One of the appetisers was described as fried potatoes with mozzarella. Meaning, cheesy chips!!! The food according to the menu was mostly frozen, probably imported and heated up. The sweet was tiny! For instance, Baklava. I took a photograph of it next to a teaspoon. The spoon head was bigger! My wife and I stuck it out for 5 nights as we’d paid for the option. Then we relented and the last two nights we paid to go and eat at the local tavernas. On the 5th night for dinner out of all the half board guests, there was just my wife and I and another family. Everyone else had given up and done the same. You may think I’m bleating and exaggerating but the evening meal was the worst I’ve ever had in Kefalonia and my wife and I have been many times over the years to the point we’ve lost count! To sum up, hotel is fine just AVOID the half board option and eat out. Shame.

Excellent hotel in a brilliant location. Stunning views overlooking sea and mountains. Pool area lovely. Room nice and great views. Clean and maid service excellent. Staff wonderful and very accommodating. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Perfect location for getting around other parts of the island. Plenty of lovely tavernas and bars to explore during the evening. Couple of things: 1. The hotel could do with a little love and care. By this I mean there are a few things that could be easily done without spending much money - weeding around the pool for example, just to bring the standard up ever so slightly. 2. Our shower couldn’t be fastened to the wall so meant we had to shower by holding shower head - not a deal breaker but something simple that could be rectified in the future. Good value for money. Would recommend for sure!

The view of the bay and the town is spectacular, and the pool the best we have experienced at any holiday hotel. If you like swimming I thoroughly recommend it. The water is regularly tested and the pools regularly cleaned. I can’t praise the Ukrainian staff enough for their willingness to help and their hard work. We found plenty of choice available for breakfast and the pool bar, though we didn’t eat lunch, appeared to have plenty of options. If you want peace and quiet then this is ideal. At night listen out for the Scops Owl which makes a sound like an electronic beep. Steps – yes there are many but if you are reasonably fit you shouldn’t have a problem. I believe the current owners only took over two years ago and are clearly trying to upgrade the rooms. There is a very good taverna about 100 metres from the hotel. The acid test is would we go back? Yes, hopefully later this year. With a bit more work this hotel could be a real gem.

Great views but nothing else. The floor would be softer than the bed, the bathroom was dirty and outdated with a sink 600 millimetres from the ground and a shower curtain with the railing hanging off. Overall the room tatty with a TV screen that was miniature. The breakfast was inedible but the pool bar served decent drinks. Friendly staff but not very competent. Definitely not a 4 star hotel more likely 2.5.

A soleless hotel made for mountain goats No bar facilities. Cold breakfast (cold baked bean’s bacon,eggs). No toaster (it broke) young staff that needed training. We arrived early to be charged 45 euros to checkin early as our room was still occupied. The hotel was empty 👎 !!! Why couldn’t they just allocate us one of the empty ones.
