Very disappointing all the rooms are old and neglected. Very depressing. Many broken items. Shower gel dispenser broken. Door sticks into bathroom. Shelves missing in fridge. Needs complete painting. Very old decor but very basic maintenance needed.

Vell Mari is a great choice for a relaxing week, in lovely surroundings. There are plenty of food choices and nice staff, everyone seemed to enjoy their roles. Points of note - Excellent mattresses - firm and supportive Superb WiFi throughout the hotel and rooms, this is a #1 factor these days I think Great food and drink choices Beautiful grounds Lovely staff Room size - very good including balcony and even a kitchenette! Plenty of entertainment for kids I would definitely come back and maybe consider a room only or b&b option if that is available. There is a lidl across the road with all needs catered for. The hotel is on the edge of Can Picafort but it's only a 20 minute saunter down to the beachfront area If you are able, do consider hiring a pushbike, it really opens up the possibilities We cycled to Port Pollenca and back which was about 27 miles round trip. Well worth it. Also, Finca Son Real and Son Serra are just a few miles down the road and very lovely indeed. Thank you to all the staff at this fine resort Saludos!

Stayed here during the Easter Break. 1st time ever done an all inclusive and the hotel made it very worthwhile. Hotel grounds was always being cleaned, pool really inviting (did go in though most people used the sun lounger, most likely due to the time of yr :)) Nice for the family room to have a seperate bedroom for the adults. Kids used a sofa bed (really good idea). Lovely grounds and nice to be able to use the road outside for parking. Again thanks to Vell Mari for making our time away in Mallorca so special.

This is one of the best if not the best hotels we’ve stayed in for its star rating. The staff are endlessly cleaning the beautiful grounds. They are all polite clean and friendly. The beds are comfy, rooms huge. Food fantastic and drinks good. Indoor pool & sauna. Tennis great hit also. Bus to alcudia every 15min 4euro. Already looking to return in august. For the price I couldn’t fault a thing! Thankyou

This place was great 10days all inclusive with two kids! It’s clean, with food a plenty! The food was fine we could always find something we enjoyed! The staff were all friendly! (Unless you was picking an icecream to buy at the pool bar, nearly got man handled out of the freezer even though I had cash in my hand). We loved the pool, and the indoor pool when the weather wasn’t playing nice! The park on site was a huge hit as was the big one a five minute walk away! The entertainment was the standard holiday kids disco!! Followed by cheesy nighttime entertainment for the adults! It was my son’s birthday while away and the restaurant staff brought out a cake and sang happy birthday which was lovely! Yes the rooms are very dated but they were clean! If you want an Instagram worthy room maybe not the place for you! The cleaning team do a great job, fresh towels everyday and beds made! Thank you for a great 10 days!!

The good points. Very efficiently run resort hotel. Clean, well staffed, the hotel grounds were immaculate. Food was good quality, abundant and plenty of choice. Great for kids, plenty of entertainment , kids clubs etc. The bad points. On arrival we ere advised that we had been ‘upgraded’ from a Studio ( with a garden view, balcony, sunbeds ) to an ‘apartment ‘ a no extra cost. We did not consider it to be an upgrade as we had been upgraded to a view of a brick wall, no balcony or sunbeds. The following day, I spoke to reception and was moved to a better apartment without too much fuss. Although we had a hob and fridge, we did not have a kettle or pan to boil water to make an early morning cuppa. This rendered the kitchen facilities functionless for us. The door entry card d e- magnetised every day which made it a faff to get into our room. It would be great if there were an area of the pool which was for adults only, dodging inflatable flamingos , crocodiles, water guns and floundering children made swimming a bit of a challenge. The resort is a bit of a walk away from the seafront, a bit of a hike to trail youngsters to the beach. Overall we were very satisfied with the Vel Marie, the ******* shouldnt put people off, but may need consideration.

Clean hotel, cannot fault it at all there. Room was spotless and towels changed every day. All inclusive was good and the restaurant was good. Only thing we found that stops it getting top marks was not all the food in the restaurant was marked up so difficult to know if it was vegetarian or not. Maybe a vegetarian area would be better. Plenty of choice though. The lager and wine was not the best quality but we drank enough of it so can’t complain too much! The walk to the beach is about 25 mins and a few nice bars down there. Also a nice children’s play area about a ten minute walk Overall, would go back if I wanted to stay in the area again

Absolutely amazing family stay .Very helpful and friendly staff. Food amazing. Room was very spacious and clean. Entertainment was great. Definitely would stay again.Only one concern-pool too cold for this time.highly recommended to anyone. Thank you ever so much 💓

Fantastic place the staff made it too from cleaners to bar staff (joey) etc to restaurant staff and especially to animation team Mike ,spence,and angel the kids loved them and so did we always put a smile and laugh on your face .brill
