Hotel Parque la Paz

We stayed at the property from the 27th September for 10 nights & we were AIC. I'm going to start with a couple of negatives, firstly on our 2nd evening we decided to stay in the hotel and watch the entertainment. We wish we hadn't, unfortunately the act (ABBA) two ladies singing were abysmal. Who ever told them they could sing were either deaf or just delusional!!!! Secondly the bath towels left a lot to be desired for, extremely old and even some had holes in them. Apart from the above we could not fault the hotel, It's exceptionally clean (I've never seen such hard workers) all the staff are very polite and friendly who could not do enough for us during our stay. We read some reviews mentioning the quality & the variety of the food in the restaurant's, I can assure you that coming from the most fussiest of eaters their is something for everybody with lots of choices for breakfast, lunch & dinner so no complaints from us. The rooms are so much better than just a normal hotel, full kitchen including fridge, dinning area, living room & bedroom with celling fans, (Note the temperatures during our stay were in the mid to high 20's and we found the fans adequate) saying that I can imagine in the hot summer months you would require an A/C unit or two which I know the hotel is having fitted. Nice bathroom with rainfall shower. The pool area can be crowded at times but we never struggled to find a bed during our stay. Great location 5 minute walk to the beach, Parque La Paz ***** has plenty of bars restaurants, highly recommend Las Vegas grill if you like steaks, Indian Delhi Delights. Would we return? absolutely we would!!! but due to not making full use of the AIC we would only do self catering. Lovely hotel with great staff.

Very disappointed in the cleaning of the room. Having a 1 year old that crawls he was black with dirt within minutes. (There was no shoes worn inside) when I went and complained to the hotel staff the woman on reception replied “you’re not the first to complain today” the rooms weren’t cleaned properly just tidied up. Was very disappointed in that No air conditioning was so so hard to cope in even at night. The fan does absolutely nothing.

I just wanted to share our views about this hotel after some of the negative reviews we read ... this hotel is marked as a 3 star hotel by jet2 yet we would give it a 5 plus .. the hotel is clean and tidy all day the cleaners are there from morning to night . the staff on reception are absolutely wonderful and always ready to help you ... the rooms are plenty big enough.. we had a pool view and sea view .. very modern rooms and ceiling fans that were more than enough to cool the room down ... bed was made every day and towels too as well as the room cleaned .. now as far as the food is concerned ... well what can I say .. everyday there was so much to choose from from salad to main meals and sweets .. such a selection ... the salad area was clean and fresh no matter what time you went in and hot food the same.. the chef was always looking at what people had and tidying and making it presentable for the next customer .. the sweet selection from fresh fruit to light and tasty sweets was too clean and tidy .. the only thing that let it down was other holiday makers making such a mess around the chocolate fountain and sweet deserts but again the staff did the upmost to make it look presentable ... all In all it is a wonderful hotel set in a fantastic location only a 5 minute walk to the beach and shops. ... Thankyou so much to everyone at the hotel for a wonderful holiday and look forward to staying with you again next year

Throughly enjoyed our holiday rooms great very clean plenty to do lovely food pools lovely good entertainment children had a great time all staff very polite will be go back again hopefully next year with mire family freinds plenty restaurants within walk distance nice beaches

Back home after a brilliant 2 weeks, we went as a group of 8 and had the best time , the hotel is lovely and clean the staff are very friendly, food is okay for breakfast and lunch but we didn't really eat at the hotel as we like to go out to different restaurants, entertainment can be hit and miss, sunbed situation we found was okay as we generally went to the pool between 08:00-08:30 and got sunbeds around the pool area but we did go down earlier on some days just to be sure we got beds, the hotel is in a fantastic location with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and the beach is only a 10-15 minute walk, so for anyone looking to book this hotel I would definitely recommend and we will most definitely be returning again

Great hotel 5 stars... i would highly recommend this hotel to families and couples (if you like kids). The location is great. On arrival, we were welcomed by a friendly member of staff who checked us in and gave us directions to the nearest supermarket (5 minutes walk). The room (pool view) was clean and modern. There is no air con in the room, and as we have a 5 and 1 year old with us, we opted to hire an air con unit through the hotel (€60 per week), this was a good investment as it kept the room extra cool.in the day/night. The cleaners were friendly and very helpful. We had no issues getting sun loungers, there are plenty round the pool and in the sun terraces, also if people leave unattended towels for longer than 1 hour they are removed, which I think is only fair. The pool was good. There were plenty of activities to do in the day, including inflatable slides, gladiators, water polo, volly ball, and more. There is a kids' playground and activity room on site, and lilly was very friendly and made my son feel welcome and happy. Night entertainment was good. However, we only stopped on site 2 times out of 14 nights. Only improvements we could recommend to the hotel would be slightly more storage in the room and a freezer compartment in the Fridge would of been perfect for ice cubes and ice lollies for the kids. Overall great stay and will be returning again.

This was are second time at the hotel this year we went in April but was all inclusive and this time around we did self catering, we knew how well equipped the room was and that there was plenty around in the area to eat out, We didn’t rush in the morning to get sun beds and found there was always beds at the top terrace and we would lie on the cushion area around the pool as it was more comfortable and shaded, the weather was perfect only downside was at night the ceiling fans was pointless, when we went in April the temperature would drop and sleeping was fine at night but we all struggled to sleep with the heat, we still think the hotel is great just wish they had air con. We found some amazing food places, * Indian - Tandoori Hut (best we have ever had in our lives) * Chinese - it was by the hotel by the highland bar little but there food was lovely * Full English the Irish bar by the hotel called whole in the wall * steak -The old Bank (expensive but worth it) I would definitely recommend these places as they was 10/10 We also did Siam park night, due to the day being really busy, it was a much better experience less busy , Tenerife is just the nicest place and the area we was is perfect

We visited from Scotland to meet with family from other countries in this hotel as part of a birthday celebration. The rooms & balconies are modern, spacious and clean. The 0.5m kids pool is fabulous for the kids, as is the evening entertainment - our 1, 3 & 6 year olds all loved the kids disco each night and entertainment afterwards. The “chicken man” is brilliant at his job & great with the kids. They loved spending a little time in the kids club during the hottest sun (meant for 4yo and above but we took our 1 & 3yo and just stayed with them - this was no problem, staff very friendly and don’t mind us being there). Reception & management staff very helpful, efficient at sorting a new TV for our room when ours wasn’t working, allowed us to keep our cot in grandparents room after we checked out so baby could nap before going to airport & they also helped us source a toddler bed rail from a hire company which they put in our room before our arrival. We paid extra for pool view balcony which the kids loved looking out to see who was up & in the pool but other family had rooms without pool view and although overlooking a road they’re also lovely view of hills & palm trees. Location is amazing, 2-3 min walk to supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping centre with some lovely clothes shops, 5 min walk to beach, and running path/promenade. Would recommend and would visit again.

This hotel is beautiful and the staff went above and beyond. We went all inclusive and there was so much choose from. Staff were lovely and the animation guy (sorry didn’t get his name) but he was brilliant, always so happy and welcoming. He not only made children’s holiday fun but the adults fun too. He was so funny and always made everyday enjoyable around the pool. The cleanliness of this hotel is unbelievable, not only our room was spotless everyday but every single area of the hotel was sparkling. The staff work so hard at this hotel and made our first family holiday to Tenerife the best we’ve ever had. One night at 11pm we return to our room and the boiler was leaking, within 5 minutes of speaking to the receptionist we had someone in our room to take a look and secure the leak.He told us to let reception know when we woke the following morning and they would send the maintenance team up. The next morning they came straight away when we told them and before lunch they had came and replaced our boiler to a new one. There was no fuss and so polite with us. I can’t honestly fault anything about this hotel. The location is brilliant, the food, the staff and overall hotel were amazing. We honestly can’t wait to return for our second visit hopefully next year. Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so special.
