Great location, right in the heart of 5th Avenue. Staff were lovely. The pool was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel

The service was good. I had a good time staying there. I also enjoyed the the roof top swimming pool.

Property was in the center of everything. Nothing to mess there you’re going to get the full experience, beautiful rooftop amenities, including Pool and and full bar.

It’s just okay. The shower is very cool, it’s comfortable enough. There’s no fridge in room or available. No coffee in rooms or on property. No hair dryers in room or available.
Staff at pool seemed to change the price of drinks at will.

Nice hotel close to everything that Play Del Carmen offers. The atmosphere was very nice and the rooftop pool area also. Towels need a renew. The staff could be more into helping and serving as working in the hotel hospitality.

This is a ok hotel, which glory days are over. Maintenance is not good; clogged toilet and sink in room. Double rainfall shower, where one head was broken (seems head was broken and water projected out of pipe beteeen roof and shower), and one had no water pressure. Bed somewhat soft for my taste, but quality seemed good. clean and tidy, but no refil on water in room. Ac worked in kitchen/living room, but not in bedroom. Roof top pool was good and the staff welcoming and polite. For the price it was absolutely a good alternative in the center, but could need some TLC to fulfill it’s potential.

I stayed at the palm the end of January for a solo birthday trip.. the hotel is near everything! Walmart is three blocks up and the beach is two blocks down. Security was always at the entrance, the area was safe and comfortable. Check in/check out was fast and simple. My room was clean, my tv did not have a remote but the desk rep went and found me one.. tv had Netflix for the nights I wanted to relax. The WiFi is not the strongest and a little hard to connect.. the rooftop was chill and fairly empty.. overall I enjoyed my stay very much and will definitely book again.

Outdated hotel, in a very load area.
On the good side very close to the beach and all the shopping and restaurants.
Not super service minded staff, but we got what we needed.

I was skeptical after all the bad reviews i read about this property. The palm at playa exceeded my expectations it was a pleasant surprise the location, the staff , the room was huge and the parking on site was a great added bonus. Romeo the security was great always very attentative to our needs always with a smile. The pool in roof top is nice they offer and 2x1 happy hour drinks. The hotel is a bit old so the furniture is not new or modern but everything was spotless and the comfort because of the spacious room was nice. The hotel is close to everything and we always felt safe. If you are in a buget and looking for a nice hotel without breaking the bank The palm at playa is perfect. We will back soon
