İyi bir otel, 5. caddeye yakın, şikayet edeceğim tek şey bizi almaya gelen yeğenimin odamıza girmesine izin vermemeleriydi, ayrıca bize 100 Meksika Pesosu ücret aldıklarını da ekleyeceğim (resepsiyon görevlisine göre devlet vergisiydi), Ayrıca ödediğimiz fiyata göre bize kahvaltı da verselerdi güzel olurdu. Havluları değiştirdiğimizde bize lekeler verdiler.

Cute hotel but... terrible hygiene, the towels had skin marks and sheets had many dubious stains. some times we had hot water but must the time we dont. I definitely would not return and I do not recommend it.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel! The location was perfect, very walkable! Not directly in the noisy area of 5th Avenue but close enough to walk there. There's plenty of restaurants options nearby and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff was amazing with helping us with whatever we needed! I would recommend this hotel to anyone that's visiting Playa Del Carmen.

Our rooms had no view (windows) and were located in the middle of hallway. No soundproofing means no sleep. Not very friendly staff. Noticed other guests complaining about noise the first thing we entered the hotel. Misleading room descriptions and exceptionally poor value for money!

Very nice facilities, employees are very kind. It’s two blocks from the 5th Avenue, Beach Club, Oxxo’s. Everything is near. Unfortunately the roof terrace after COVID is not working, you have the pool but no drinks or snacks available. Internet connection could improve.

Good staff, beautiful place, very clean room. Would recommend anyone to go there, I will go back again !! Good tourist place, food, bar, and beach near by. The community there is quiet and respectful.

Personally, I really loved the location as I do not mind walking a little ways to the center, it's about a mile (35 min walk) but even closer to tour departure points which is really convenient. You can't beat the private rooftop pool with an ocean view, I took lots of great IG photos from it. Super cute and clean, would recommend to anyone wanting to get a lot of value for their money.

I'm difficult to travel with as I'd like my hotels to be as nice as possible, but can't afford to stretch the budget to resorts. I also really struggle to sleep anywhere other than home. Took a while to go through the Playa hotels and decided on this and having been around Mexico and other hotels since, Marvic offers pretty good value. As there's not many reviews, let me cover as much as I can remember. LOCATION: As stated below, the hotel is situated at the far end of the 5th, so is generally pretty quiet. The places on that end were more of the cafe or breakfast type, though, one one of the nights we did hear live music from a bar, but that ended by midnight. It's about 2 blocks or 10 minutes from the beach, and having walked through the whole *****, this area actually seemed the least busy and most clean (regarding seaweed), however the beach club that it comes with, is unfortunately incredibly loud. The free chairs are in the back/middle end of the club, for the seaside ones you will have to pay 500 pesos per person, which can be used on food and drinks. Hotel provides beach towels if you ask. About a 20-min walk from bus/ferry stations (taxi was a flat rate of a 100 or 150) HOTEL/STAFF Didn't really interact with the staff much, but as much as we did, they seemed friendly. English wasn't great, but passable. There's a rooftop pool, which we didn't use, but seemed nice enough. Only three beach chairs, but they were never used when we were there. Bar was shut, though the area was open. The hotel seems pretty new and clean and the room was a decent size. The planning of the building, however, is a little questionable. Firstly, there's an open plan atrium, so you will hear all doors, but as it's a small hotel and during our stay all guests were respectful, this didn't really bother us much. Rooms x01 and x02 are a few feet further. Rooms x03 seem to have a window instead of a wall to said atrium? We were in room x04, which did have a window, which we believe was facing the back, but hard to say as it was all covered up, so no view. I'm guessing this is for noise pollution purposes, but we still heard the bar. We also had the issue with the lift not working on one occasion during the day. All the lights were off as well and it was fixed in a few hours, so we reckon it's cost-cutting more than anything else. THE ROOM Other than the weird window situation we can't really complain. Came with the basic toiletries and towels. Has a modern safe, though no mini fridge. Has a TV, but we never used it. A/C worked fine and wasn't too loud. Beds were a little hard for my liking, but not the worst. Could hear doors, but not neighbouring rooms. I am *really* sensitive to noise and the only real complaint I had was a humming-buzzing noise, which the staff claimed to be the ice machine two floors up, but I only heard it some nights, so I'm guessing it was the pool pump instead.
