For a place with a million Tripadvisor signs around, it sure is odd that there isn't any new ones on here nor on Booking. If I hadn't booked through them directly, I'd be asking Booking for my money back. We had stayed in a different place in Playa, however had to find a last minute place for just the night during on a Saturday not too far from the stations and the choice was limited. This looked promising on photos, and honestly, the things in the room are the same and even in the same place, but god does it look a million times more awful somehow?! It claimed to be normal price over a 100€, but was discounted 50% - it wasn't worth the 50% and certainly isn't worth the 'full cost'. Where do I even begin. I am a tricky-picky travelel, but my mum is not and we both absolutely hated this hotel. Extremely rude staff at front desk (both check in and out). They make you wear a stupid plastic wristband that doesn't even give you access anywhere, it's just to monitor who is staying there expect no one is monitoring it? No lifts, no one to help you with luggage. If you want to leave luggage with reception, you have to fight with them to let them put you behind the desk and not in the walkway. Your key is a sim-card size cut out. We had a junior suite, which realistically meant that there was a 1.5x3m hallway with a bed and an A/C in it. Literally like sleeping in a box, expect you can hear all the noise from the hallway as well as the pool courtyard, which as our luck had it, had people talking there all night. The actual suite area is pretty big and that's the only thing it's got going for it. The A/C was almost unusuable. Not only did it make a ton of noise and drip during the night, it was pretty unresponsive to the remote. For 2 A/Cs we had one remote, so maybe that's why. On many occasions, we would turn it off, and it'd turn back on again on its own. Mattress wasn't too bad, but the pillows were horrendous. Comes with a balcony that is facing the main street, so unusable and loud. Everything looked tired. Loo roll was used. We found underwear stuck between two window panes, so clearly not cleaned properly. Didn't even dare to brush my teeth after reading the reviews about it being salty. Showed own towels between sheets as we didn't trust them to be properly cleaned (though we did see one of the cleaning ladies in the morning and she seemed sweet, but her smile did not make up what we saw in the room). There is a safe, but the lock is cut out. We checked in just before midnight, so were forced to stay, but would've otherwise checked out within 5 minutes. Do yourself a favour and pay more if you need to, but stay elsewhere. This is only suitable for drunk spring breakers who can't comprehend their surroundings.
