Lovely clean apar**ents with friendly helpful staff. The location is great with a gentle stroll down to the beach and bars. The pool area doesn't seem to get over crowded and is the perfect spot to relax and read a book. The pool feels cold upon entering but quickly becomes enjoyable and not too cold. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Absolute gem of a place. Hidden amongst the larger hotels. Great spacious apar**ent, very clean with everything you need. Pool area really well maintained. Up the steps next to the apar**ents leads you to a great variety of shops and restaurants. Only a short walk to the main beach area and lots of amenities. 10 minutes walk to the Yumbo centre, with lots of shops and restaurants. Lots of convenient supermarkets, bars, and restaurants nearby catering for all.

We have just returned from this hotel and were really happy with our stay, Nice little complex with friendly staff, rooms have everything you need and it’s in a great location. There was plenty of loungers for sunbathing - my only criticism is the pool is not acclimatised and was absolutely freezing even when it was 26 degrees during the day. Cold to the point you were in and out if you dared brave it. Overall though nice stay and would return but maybe when it was hotter so could use pool.

Stayed here last week and enjoyed it just as much as our previous stays. The apar**ents are perfect for what we wanted. They are spotlessly clean and have everything you need for a self catering holiday. The location is pretty much perfect as you are close to most things. The staff are super friendly and helpful. A shout out to our maid Theresa who as we have learned over the many stays here at the jacarandas is absolutely fantastic at what she does and as now become more of a friend to us than just our maid. And manager Juan Carlos looked after us during our stay just as he does every time we visit. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Stayed in these lovely apar**ents for 10 nights at the end of October. The apar**ents themselves are a really good size with plenty of storage in the living area, bedroom and bathroom . Kitchen has everything you need a good fridge, microwave, toaster ,kettle and enough crockery and utensils for three people. Furniture and beds were very comfortable.Maid service was top class and towel and bed linen changed regularly The flow of water in the kitchen and bathroom was rather slow however this didn't affect the shower which we found to be very good. There is a large balcony which has a table 2 chairs and a rocking chair with access through patio doors to both the bedroom and the living area. We had requested when we booked a top floor apar**ent with a sunny balcony which is exactly what we got - apar**ent 41 at the end of the top floor overlooking the pool, however the style of the apar**ents mean that there was only sun for about an hour in the late afternoon this wasn't a problem though as there were sunbeds available around the pool at all times. The weather was much hotter than we had expected and so we slept with our door open on the first night, however the noise from an intermittent fan in the hotel opposite kept us awake. We got a fan the next day from reception and with the door closed we were not disturbed. I would think though that in the summer months the fan wouldn't be much use. Great location especially if you like walking as we do just short of 3 miles along a lovely promenade to San Agustin and about 4 miles to Maspalomas either along the beach or the road, with a further 1 mile to Meloneras. An abundance of bars and restaurants within about a 5 minute walk and also lots of supermarkets.

Very good location 5 minutes Beach and numerous restaurants. Has onsite pool area and always had empty beds. Staff very friendly and helpful. Arrived after reception closed but keys for room were in a box at front gate. As others mention no air con, however we had a couple of small USB fans which made the difference. Was little or no noise at night. Was a 10 minute walk to local Market and 15 minutes to yumbo centre.

Some aspects to love, some not so much. The positives, great location, comfy beds, amazing cleaning and linen changes through our stay. Well appointed self catering with all you need and a nice size balcony. Pool area never busy and very comfortable. On the face of it, this place should be excellent and get a 5 star rating. Sadly though there are a couple of negatives that would prevent us returning. First and foremost, while the hot water never ran out, having a shower is near hopeless due to the tiny trickle of hot water available. After a day on the beach covered with sunscreen it’s so much of a let down. I can’t emphasise how little hot water flow you get enough. Others have mentioned the noise from other properties over the road, and I have to say it’s been more of an issue than I expected. The fans cut in and out constantly to the noise is particularly annoying. Finally, for those who smoke it won’t be an issue but as non smokers, I can honestly say we have never been so affected at any other place we have stayed. Not only was the balcony time ruined but at night even the bedroom was thick with it. We may have been unlucky but somehow the smoke just seemed to hang all the time. Sorry smokers! We are returning to PDI in November, and January and I’m sorry to say we are booking elsewhere.
