What a disaster. The hotel is next to the freeway and super sketchy. And I got a $150 charge for a “pet cleaning fee” when I have no pets. I am following up with them and they are basically saying that children are pets. We left it spotless! AVOID THIS PLACE!!! The front staff was nice, but they can’t do anything to help you. The breakfast is decent.

I made my Reservation for the Chris**as weekend TWO months in advance!
The Reservation depar**ent screwed up my reservation and had to contact me MULTIPLE TIMES to get my request for a downstairs room correct! They stated that I requested a handicapped room during multiple calls, which I did not. I just wanted a downstairs room.
I ALSO requested a room AWAY from the freeway due to the extremly loud traffic all day and very late into the morning, every day. My children have been bothered by this many times before.
When I called the morning of the reservation, as instructed by their Management, to CONFIRM that we would get a room away from the freeway, the person I spoke with ASSURED me that issue would "Not Be A Problem!"
When we arrived and checked in, we received a Handicapped room (which I had told them I DID NOT NEED Multiple Times) but...you probably already guessed it...WE WERE IN A ROOM RIGHT NEXT TO THE FREEWAY

This location is an older apar**ent complex converted to an extended stay hotel. The units are spread across several buildings with outdoor stairs. Make sure to ask for a ground floor unit if you cannot do stairs. The room had a slight smell— not and, but could tell it was older. The furnishings and fixtures were worn and dated, the bed was extra firm, the amenities very basic. The sofa bed had a very thin mattress— fine for one child, not suitable for an adult. The breakfast was very basic. The service was good— asked for extra pillows and were delivered right away. Our unit did not have an oven even though the website photos show an oven— so no frozen pizzas from the grocery store. The hotel is located in a residential area but right next to the freeway. The freeway noise was like white noise— but if you are sensitive to sounds of cars, this may not be the place for you. The location was very close to shops and restaurants in Pleasant Hill— and a Safeway grocery a couple minutes away.

We stayed here for a night last weekend when in town and had a wonderful visit. Staff were friendly and helpful. Anaiza checked us in and we were grateful for her assistance. The room was clean and everything worked well. We enjoyed the space and comfort of the Residence Inn - and frequently choose this chain on travel. Lots of choices for breakfast. We had waffles and oa**eal. They had several toppings for both, which was great. There is a bit of road noise but we slept well.

I was almost attacked by a vicious pet a guest did not keep on a leash. I was terrified. When I went to tell the hotel staff about it the doors were locked and no staff anywhere in sight. Other than that the place was wonderful.

I actually did not even stay here. I made a reservation as I needed to take my child to an appt in PH. The next day I had to cancel as she was not going to be able to travel. Of course this facility refused to refund….that’s fine I bought insurance, however that won’t help because despite the fact that I called ******* and asked to cancel they did not cancel and now o have no recourse. I went on line and tried to work with an agent who had poor English skills, refused to transfer me to another agent or supervisor and made me so furious. I did everything according to policy and they say they can’t fix it. Don’t buy their insurance it’s a scam. Don’t use *******…just call the place direct lesson learned.

They charge for parking and don’t disclose it to you. There’s plenty of street parking for those interested. Nice area. Nice hotel.

Room was clean and cool when we checked in. Right near the freeway but couldn’t hear it with door and windows closed. Appreciated the kitchen and essentials.
