Deja Vu Estate

Amazing place. So spacious and has everything you need. Great kitchen with quality utensils and everything you need to cook a lovely meal. Oils, sauces, fresh herbs outside, full oven & cooktop, dishwasher and m/w. The fireplace was made up ready to use with plenty of wood their to top it up. If you don't want to go to the trouble of the fire, then their are 2 air conditioners. The outdoor spa was a great way to relax in private. As there are only 2 cabins on the large acreage, it is very private. We tried the pizza oven on the first night which was a bit of fun although I may have overcooked the pizzas a bit. We sat out by the firepit another night and enjoyed the surroundings where kangaroos and birds abound. Our host, Gillian, checked everyday to ensure everything was ok and even brought in a little Tokay to enjoy our fire with. The provisions for breakfast were great. Beautiful bacon, eggs, tomatoes as well as pancake mix, oats, muesli, milk, juice. We felt well and truly pampered. Thanks Gillian for making it a special stay.

We recently stayed for 3 nights but wished we could have stayed for longer. This place is very special. We loved all the extra touches. The breakfast provisions were generous and the villa was very well appointed. We made use of the hot tub, the outdoor fire pit and the indoor log fireplace. The privacy and luxury were second to none and we are already planning when we can get back there again. We have stayed in a lot of cabins/villas over the years but this one was absolutely one of our favourites.

Wow. I have written over 500 reviews and this accommodation is, without doubt, one of the top 5 places. We stayed at one of the two villas (Mangerton) located about 1km down the entrance to the main property. It therefore was wonderfully secluded surrounded by a small forest full of nature, amongst which were kangaroos who came and went. The villa is very spacious, probably close to 100 m2 and so tastefully furnished, with high quality items including, for example, china cups, premium fine stem glasses for red and white wine, large 65 smart TV, an excellent megaboom speaker, a stunning bathroom with both a large modern shower and top quality stand alone jet bath, as well as a special feature bed. Then there is the spa bath, the sun lounge area, bar-b-q an excellently stocked fridge and well equipped kitchen. The only small downside is the lack of laundry facilities, but we understand this was a planning requirement to prevent long term occupancy and I can see why that might be an issue, as we could have stayed for ages! Jillian was a wonderful landlord, so helpful and this property is a real find. I encourage readers who are hesitating to book now or it will be gone.

Our 5th stay at Deja Vu and there are many reasons why we love to return. It’s peaceful and relaxing, luxurious and comfortable - full of little touches to make you feel special. To wake up listening to the birds and soak in the hot tub watching the stars is such a treat. Thanks again Jillian & Brent.

My husband and I stayed here over the weekend for our anniversary. It was our first kid free getaway and it was the most perfect weekend ever. The villa was superb, extremely clean and had everything we needed. Our hosts Jillian and Brent were thoughtful and helpful for anything we needed. We were so relaxed and never wanted to leave. Already planning our next trip!

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights after we got married in the Hunter Valley and it was perfect! The villas are completely private and you feel like you've pretty much got the property to yourself. Jillian was so helpful and lovely during our stay, making sure we knew where to find it on the night of our wedding and making the check in process so late at night an absolute breeze! There was brekky for each day in the fridge, inclusive of locally sourced eggs, bacon, mushrooms and tomato which was amazing after such a massive weekend. We'd recommend Deja Vu Estate over and over again and we'll definitely be back!

We have been privileged to stay in some of the most amazing places around the world! My family has lived in the Hunter for over 40 years and I have to say that our stay in Dejavu estate was one of the best places we have ever stayed! On arriving the gorgeous Jillian met us and walked through all the features of the villas! What I loved about the Villa was the cleanliness 10/10! The Villa is spacious and absolutely private which was absolutely paramount to our stay! The villa was so spacious and with an indoor and outdoor spa it was amazing! Highly recommend!

Superclean with a lot of thought put into the little extras. Lots of great places to relax, from the day bed, to the spa, to the chairs next to the fire pit. And we watched kangaroos across the gully whilst having our breakfast. Wow!!
