Aparthotel Bahia Pollensa

We stayed for two weeks in May in a one bedroomed garden view apartment. This was very spacious with a door from the corridor leading to an inner hallway with a door to the bathroom ( great walk in rainfall shower with side option) , door to the bedroom and also a door to a large kitchenette, dining area, two large sofas and balcony with table and chairs. Just perfect for sitting out on in the evening with a glass of Rioja !. Room was serviced daily which was great. Cleaners very pleasant and efficient. We ate in the restaurant on occasions and it was very good with a good choice. The location is good, just a short stroll from a wonderful beach where an early morning swim in the calm waters of the bay is a must, and not really far from the town centre, and some excellent bars and restaurants. We enjoyed Puerta Pollensa so much we decided to come back for 4 weeks in Sept/Oct and checked out a few other apartments and aparthotels but nothing compared to Bahia. One only serviced the rooms weekly and these were half the size of Bahias, for approximately the same price. So we have booked to return to The Bahia Pollensa for 4 weeks later in the year and are very much looking forward to it. The reception staff are world class, Marga, Juan and others but in particular Rosa, who was always most helpful. So thanks for a great holiday and see you later in the year.

We visited for a week (16th - 23rd May), we had previously stayed at Puerto Azul but this was fully booked, however, following our stay, we would wish to return to Bahia as preference. It is a bit further out than other hotels but this makes it peaceful and we didn’t mind the walk into town. Our room was comfortable and the bed was huge and very comfy, and the black out curtains helpful for the days when we grabbed a little ‘lie in’. We stayed on a half board basis and the food was very good. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold, importantly, the coffee was also good. We also enjoyed the food selections in the evening which had freshly cooked options too and drinks at the bar were reasonable. We also ordered lunch at the pool bar on our last day and it was really delicious, I can recommend the club sandwich! The staff were amazing, from reception to the bar and restaurant staff, and also the cleaners were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. On one day we didn’t want the room cleaned as timing wasn’t good but the cleaner still offered to change the towels. Also, we had an issue with the kettle not working and because they realised we were trying to make a hot drink there and then, a replacement was provided within about 10 minutes. Nothing was too much trouble. We hired road bikes from Bike Island Majorca and stored them in the hotel garage which was kept locked at all times (you have to get the key from reception to gain access and they fully close the garage at night). We took our own bike locks and locked the bikes together which was handy as there is no option of locking the bikes to anything fixed to the wall (perhaps this can be improved in future, and would encourage others to use the garage.), I suppose anyone could gain access to the key during the day, so I can see why some people choose to keep the bikes in their room, whether hired or not! We were a little disappointed that the sun beds were not available on the beach and we purchased some beach mats from the local supermarket, although we were cycling quite a bit so it wasn’t too much of an issue. We wished we had stayed longer and will definitely return to this hotel :)

The location met our requirements, and the rooms were good. BUT there was NO INTERNET in the room ! We were promised it would be fixed, but it never was. This was a major problem for us, as I was needing to work. Strange attitude in the bar - when we asked for a cup of ice, we were advised we would have to pay for a complete sack

Everything was just perfect, from the moment you are greeted with a smile in reception to booking out.we aware given a lovely welcome pack of water and biscuits. I went with my son for a few days. We both loved our terraced garden, able to catch some rays before we went out. The only negative was my son slept on safa bed in lounge and he said it was vey uncomfortable for him.however my bed was extremely comfortable. It’s a pleasant walk into town, takes around 30 minutes, butyou pass plenty of bars/restaurants on the way We paid for breakfast one morning, there was plenty to choose from ranging from pastries to full English.

Great receptionist they sorted out a problem had with our room,at no time did they make feel a nuisance, problem was swiftly sorted. Rooms and balcony very comfortable and lots room loved the balcony. The rooms are well equipped all you need for self catering.

Really lovely staff and the pool is fantastic This was my third stay at this hotel and I’m already looking forward to my fourth stay . The rooms are a great size and you are so close to the beach , The food is absolutely fantastic the Caesar salad is one of my favourites

Simply Amazing. The very best hotel we have stayed in. They certainly know how to make guests happy. Spotlessly clean. The apartment was spacious comfortable and everything we could possibly need. We stayed half board and are we glad we did. The food is out of this world. The selection was huge. Everything cooked to perfection. The dining room staff were so attentive and brilliant. They were there in a flash to take away your used dishes. We forgot our device chargers and had to get them charged daily at reception. They did this for us graciously. The weather was good, lovely people, super holiday. We will be coming back to this hotel.

This hotel is an excellent establishment to base a north of the island cycling holiday. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with good English for non Spanish speaking Brits. We were allowed to keep our hired bikes on our rooms veranda, which was very handy.

Friendly staff, spotlessly clean rooms and public spaces. Buffet was amazing. Easy walk to beach and into the main town. Easy access to buses to travel further afield. Great place for running and cycling. The pool area was lovely. Hotel was quite quiet. Would definitely return.
