We came back for the 3rd time and we have enjoyed it fully.Nice, quiet park, with swimming pools and great food at the local "coffee shop". They have fresh cakes, fresh bread, very, very tasty local specialties: picanha, secretos de porco preto, francesinha.

Excellent place for a relaxing stay. Have been 4 times and going back for 10 days in May with friends. The pools are fantastic and it is a 15 min walk to the beach. Supermarket is 10 mins walk. Self catering- helpful staff. Plenty of free sun loungers.

Well, lets just say there is a reason why this is a 3 star hotel. I will start with the Pros Excellent location, walking distance to everything, grocery store, great restaurants and a beach. The units are well equipped with everything, washer, full kitchenette, lawn chairs,tables ,fridge and microwave Cons The unit was old,decor was very old style,beds were uncomfortable, bery hard Pillows were so small,like a toddler size. Our unit had a nasty smell and they couldn't get rid of it There are no soaps,shampoo or body wash provided. You can hear everything from your next door neighbors which was annoying because they were loud and we couldn't sleep.Dishes were dirty towels had stains on them. I wasn't very satisfied and I wouldn't come back to this place.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment on the first floor. We were located at the end of the villa. The walls are paper thin you can hear absolutely everything from below and next door which is very hard especially as we have two young children. The apartments are very basic but clean enough. The blankets used are extremely itchy, beds uncomfortable and the pillows are smaller than toddler size. The clean towels were stained and tea towels had holes in them. When we checked in there was very little information. We were told where the restaurant and cafe was. When we tried to book the restaurant we were told it was shut, no reason given or how long for. This was very hard. There is very little information about the hotel or help given. The staff were polite enough but not over friendly or helpful. The TV is only in German which was only used by the children a few times. Out of 40 channels no English channels. The cafe is nice and the food is lovely. The staff are friendly and polite. The pool is absolutely freezing cold but the children still managed to go in few times. The location is good, it’s in a small village outside of a larger town. They do offer a free shuttle service which is handy but again I happened to see a timetable. No information was given. There are some really lovely restaurants and beaches. All of which are lovely and friendly. I am disappointed as the reviews were excellent and did not meet my expectations at all.

Absolutely fantastic, we stayed in 2 bed duplex has everything you need including dishwasher and washing machine. Staff were amazing ,we stayed 21st april for 1 week. Can not fault anything. We had such good time and great memories we are coming back in april this year. It is quiet at night which is lovely, and oldtown albufeira only 15-20 min in taxi.

Stayed here in a 2 bedroom Villa for half term week. The accommodation is in a good location with a few restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the beach and supermarket. We had a lovely time and would stay again, but would ask for an end villa if possible to reduce noise from neighbouring villas. The villas are basic and would benefit from a bit of care and modernisation (this would not cost much to do) Pros Microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and washing machine in the kitchen of the 2 bed villas. Quiet location Always space around the pools Two playgrounds for kids Clean accommodation Pleasant staff Mini bus available to Aromacao De Pera Restaurant on-site (although we didn’t eat here) Private front garden area where you can sit out and a roof terrace. Cons Tired and old fashioned furniture and soft furnishings. Paper thin walls, you can hear next door going to the toilet! Ants everywhere in the downstairs of the villa, they were really annoying. Back area of the villas is just an open grass area so you end up with people playing football or sitting right outside your villa. Would benefit from this also being made private with the planting of bushes between villas.

This was our 2nd visit to these apartments and again we weren't disappointed. The staff are so friendly and polite, the pool was cold, but very refreshing and the apartments are very big, with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The air con and safe were free this year and the wife was very happy, they have fitted hairdryers in the bathroom. The cleaners were round most days and they even provided toilet rolls this year! It was a very very relaxing 10 day break, just before winter sets in at home. We were also extremely lucky with the weather, about 28 - 30 degrees every day. Can't wait to go back again next year. Thank you so much.

We've just returned after a lovely 10 night stay at quinta das figueirinhas. We loved it. The rooms are dated, but super clean, with plenty of storage, air con, a safe, a hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc We had a first-floor apartment that had a more than spacious balcony with plenty of seating, an umbrella, and clothes airer. Staff at the apartments were friendly. The on-site restaurant had lovely food, not restaurant food, but lovely fresh pizzas, salads, sandwiches and a few local dishes, chilled drinks, cocktails, and ice creams. We tried the francesinha, which was amazing. The pool area was spacious, with plenty of sunbeds no matter the time of day. The surrounding area is quiet, but that is exactly what we wanted. Some lovely restaurants within a 10/15 minute walk, as well as a big supermarket. There are a couple of beaches within a 10 minute walk. There is a free mini bus that runs regularly into the next town armacao de pera, which is much livelier for those that want it. All in all, a fabulous stay
