Augusta Courtyard Motel

It’s a very clean and friendly motel. I stopped there because of sunstroke during biking cross Australia from Adelaide to Darwin. I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the milk at front desk.

We came back for a second night and we had a great night's sleep after camping out for a few days in the Flinders. Hosts Jason and Shannon Stra**an were very welcoming and helpful. Lovely kingsize bed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable nights stay. Everything was clean and tidy and the cost was reasonable with a free continental breakfast. A very enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone looking for quality.

This was a fantastic property to stay at. When I told the owner I had an electric vehicle, he organised a room for me next to the BBQ area which had a powerpoint that I could use to charge my car. Thank you very much. I’ll definitely stay at your motel again next time I’m in Port Augusta West. 👍😃

Loved the ease of access to parking directly outside the room. Staff were great, friendly and pointed out the best locations to eat (we suggest next door - it was excellent).

We found this little Gem after driving by our booked accommodation (and reading reviews) and realising it was not right for us !!!! The Courtyard room was huge Had a separate kitchenette and huge bathroom The beds were very comfortable and the linen clean and crisp We also did some laundry in the clean washer and dryer They provided a Continental breakfast which we could prepare in our room We chose to cook dinner in our room rather than eat out as we had a dining table and all the cooking appliances we needed The Reception staff (owners?) were very friendly and helpful We highly recommend this motel

Wasn’t expecting too much for Port Augusta though was pleasantly surprised staying here overnight. A hotel doesn’t have to be 5 star to be enjoyable and comfortable. Sometimes it’s the little things that sets it apart . This is a central hotel on the main highway but there is very little road noise when inside the room. It’s very neat, tidy, and clean. Reception was efficient, helpful and friendly. The pictures online make it look dated. It’s not new, but it has been well maintained. What I noticed was that management have gone above and beyond so many other hotels even up to 5 star level, by implementing small improvements that make a difference. Might not be important to some but I valued the room dimmer light switches and the power points with inbuilt usb charging. So good to be able to turn on a dimmed light at night. Love how the block out curtains, actually close properly. Nice features that are rare. The complimentary continental breakfast was thoughtful. Selections are offered when you check in and can be taken back to your room to enjoy in the morning. Toast and cereal, more than adequate. Huge comfortable bed and nice flowing shower. No restaurant but next door is a good take out and across the road a Foodland. Phoning direct may well get you a better price than booking online. Would definitely stay again.

Staff were friendly, clean room, supermarket close by.

Access is a problem in this location, Decor was heavy handed
