Symphony Summer Sands Beach Resort and Spa

Great collection of pillows of different sizes. Efficient air conditioning with unique rooms to sit in balcony and dip your feet in the swimming pool. We also enjoyed the vegetarian food ordering Veg platter, dahi kebab, belgian waffle, dal tadka, veg fried rice, etc during our stay. We were enthusiastically served by Piri, Mrinal, and Vijay at the restaurant.

We stayed for 2 nights in their Mansion with pool and beach view. Honestly it’s not worth the price we paid (INR 38k). Property is run down and not maintained properly don’t just get deceived by pictures. 1. Restaurant - really bad and specially if you see the water bottles were stained and cap was rusted, we asked to replace and the replacement was also in similar condition. Service was slow and not all items in menu are available. Staff are not trained and not service oriented. 2. Front desk - don’t even bother to greet customer. 3. Room - it’s run down, mini bar - was empty and fridge was rusted. Room service was so slow had to call 4 times to get a bottle of water. Pool was not clean. 4. Floating breakfast - we requested to serve at 9 am but staff insisted to have it at 7.30 am and when we said we will be going out for sunrise and will be back by 9 they were like then you can have next day. After arguing that breakfast should be upto 9.30 they agreed to send at 9 am but food was so cold nothing great to eat. 5. Staff - not at all with service culture. 6. Location - it’s on Ramanagar beach but the private beach is rocky and can’t play in water. We had great sunset view , staff never informed about it!!! Over all it was not to our expectations.

Comfortable stay and very courteous and friendly staff. Reina at the reception and all the boys in the restaurant brightened up our time here. There so much potential to develop this island further for tourism. Best wishes to the symphony sands team.
