Nothing much.. arrived and called no one answer and not able to check in. Spent additional monies to book another motor inn .

We loved our stay at this beautiful and well-appointed apartment. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was clean and well-equipped, and the living area was spacious and perfect for our travelling family. Highly recommended.

I stayed here for the Port Fairy Literary Weekend and couldn't fault the accommodation and reception staff. The room was clean and comfortable and it was the perfect base to come back and regroup between author sessions. Conveniently located close to the main street and reardon Theatre, where most of the festival sessions were held, we didn't even need to use the the car once we had parked, but instead were in walking distance of everything we needed. The reception staff were quick to respond to our enquiries and we would definitely come back. Thanks for a great weekend.

A return trip for the Port Fairy Literary Weekend and of course I had to stay at Ashmont Motor Inn and Apartments again. It's cosy, modern, accessible and welcoming family owners and staff helping you with any queries. Super comfy beds too! And extra's from irons to hair dryers mean every thing is on hand. Off street parking make it easy to get in and out of your car, but once you park the town is in walking distance. As a writer I also love that the rooms have ample tables, desks, chairs and couches for writing (and reading spots) as well as WiFi and kitchen amenities. Ashmont Inn gets my rave reviews every time

My husband and I stayed at the Ashmont Motor Inn & Apartments while attending the amazing Port Fairy Literary Weekend. The room was very warm and comfortable. The pillows were great. It was very clean. There were basic cooking facilities, crockery and cutlery. Good parking. And it was right in town, a perfect location to stroll and look at shops, local architecture or down to the wharf. The room was quiet with good light, spacious and also had a study desk. Easy access to the island for a walk to the lighthouse too. Highly recommended.

This was my second stay at Ashmont Motor Inn, once again for the fabulous Port Fairy Literary Weekend. It was as excellent as I remembered: convenient, clean and cosy - the perfect location to transition from literary events to the many sightseeing opportunities in this wonderful town, to an evening at a local restaurant, show or pub. Can't wait to return.

Excellent stay. Clean modern room with updated bedding. Pillows and mattress were so comfortable. The staff were friendly and available if you needed them for anything and all the complementary amentities you would want in a motel. It will be my go to for Port Fairy in the future.

Stayed for one night, 2 adults and 2 kids, just passing through on way back from Adelaide. The family room was fantastic - effectively 3 bedrooms with the queen bed in a separate room to the kitchen, lounge and single beds. Very comfy beds, super clean. Kitchenette had everything you could want with microwave, crockery and cutlery. Easy parking, and great location with everything you could want nearby. We were arriving late and Dean called us to confirm arrival time, making sure to put on the heater for our arrival- what a gem! Great spot and highly recommend!
