Excellent stay, quiet and clean with awesome hosts, Alains knowledge of the history of Cape Bretton and the best places to visit was a great help.

Comfortable room for 3 adults. Delicious breakfast. We enjoyed information about local area and fiddle music provided at breakfast.

What a great place to stay in Port Hood! Alain and Denise were so welcoming and helpful. Alain had many, many suggestions for what to do in the area, and also gave a lovely overview of the history of Port Hood and Cape Breton each day over breakfast. Breakfast was delicious every day, too. The room was quite spacious and clean. We'd definitely return!

The hosts are the kindest most welcoming people you can meet. They take all the time to make sure the guests are familiar with the area and all the sights that can be seen. The breakfast is the best I ever had.

Owner showed us pictures of the island ( Cape Breton) & gave an explanation and then he played for us on his fiddle which was wonderful! As well , a young man staying there also picked up a fiddle and played ! Was wonderful!
