Overall had a great 6 days here, staying in a 1 bed apartment with 1 adult and 2 kids. I did ask for twin beds when booked but ended up with a double. Wasnt fussed enough to ask to be moved. The apartment building was separate from the main building but this wasn't a problem. Its just over the road. Everything in the apartment was in working order although quite noisy early mornings with cleaners. Lots of banging and scraping of furniture along tiled floors above our apartment. Not a lot of Utensils in the apartment either. No sharp knife or sieve etc. We just had baguettes and cheese etc but if you're wanting to cook meals then could be a problem. Pool area big enough, never too busy, nice grassed area away from the pool if you don't want to get splashed by kids. Good selection of cafe type food. Lots of different drinks available. There is a large cupboard of books you can read or leave yours there for others. Staff all lovely and really helpful. Location is a little out of the way. I knew that when booked. Aldi and Lidl supermarkets only a 10 min walk so handy to nip out for morning pastries, but a bit too far to head out in the evenings for food unless you get a taxi. It is walkable, about 20 mins but not the nicest of walks along main roads. Free shuttle bus to beach and town very convenient in the day but be good if they provided a later one back than 16:00. Definatley value for money for a cheaper end summer holiday get away. I would happily stay here again with the kids.

First time staying in these apartments and would definitely return. Apartment (307) was very modern and a really good size with balcony on both front and side so we got the sun all day. All staff were very friendly and apartment was cleaned every day with towels and bedding changed regularly. There was courtesy bus to Praia de Rocha beach/shops and Portimao which we preferred. Bus stop nearby if you want to go further afield. There are three supermarkets about a fifteen minute walk away - Aldi, Lidl and Continente - so we did large shop and got taxi back for about €5 which worked out well for us. Only thing which was slight negative is the lack of sockets in the kitchen area and no worktop space for microwave. Also bathroom could have done with grab rail over bath for us older clientele! Although area is probably not to everyone's taste as it is bit out of way and quite quiet we really enjoyed our stay.

Myself and six friends stayed at the Mirachoro in July and had the best time. The pool was the perfect size, the location was great, not too far from anything. The rooms were immaculate and the pool bar had a great selection. Thankyou for a great holiday

Read some mixed reviews before coming but we were very happy. Room was large, hotel was clean and staff very friendly. The hotel is about 15 mins walk to the resort and the town however half way through the holiday we discovered the Ubers are very cheap!!! £3.50 per ride. Towels weren’t changed every day but I agreed with this. I would wash them daily at home!
