Good value for money. No frills exactly what I expected and wanted. Friendly staff and plenty of free parking. Would stay again

Reception staff were very good, the room was clean and comfortable.Bed excellent. Food not as good as usual, steak meal was a small portion, only half a tomato, a few fries and peas, and no mushrooms. Onion rings were overcooked. Breakfast was better.

hi we stayed at portishead for a 90th birthday party and thought it would be handy to stay at the premier inn as we have stayed at various other sites under the same brand across the uk! firstly they always say that first impressions count and on this visit it surely did! very very poor staff who were very rude and unwelcoming and quite unhelpfull! i wanted to add a breakfast for the following morning which turned out to be such an effort i nearly gave up! i think the member of staff could not workout the change from £20 for a £10-99 breakfast????? is it that hard £9-01 now to the rooms which were very tired and rundown needed a good paint and a bit of a freshenup! overall we will never be returning again to this site and we choose one of the many other places to stay in the area! to sum up the staff at this premier inn need to go to smile school and learn how easy it is to be pleasant! otherwise change job!!!!

We were charged double because somehow the room was booked for the date on which we booked it instead of the date we wanted to stay. Telephone contact to immediately correct this was very laboured as we eventually, after about 15 minutes, spoke to a woman with a very strong foreign accent who seemed to have sorted out the issue. When we arrived we were charged another £104 despite receiving an invoice earlier to say there was nothing to pay. We’re 77 and struggle with all this corporate rigidity and right now feel pretty ripped off.

The hotel was conveniently located close to Bristol, in a pretty seaside town with a lido. It was clean and fresh and the room was well equipped. The breakfast was hot and plentiful with a good choice on offer and there was plenty of free parking.

A super Premier Inn that eptomised everything good about the chain. Brilliant welcome (All the best to the trainee starting on reception!) and a warm, comfortable room. Got the room right at the end, so super quiet. Really close to a Sainsbury's and adjacent restaurant, both good also. Decent rate too, so if I catch a good deal again, I'll stay more often!

I have used this hotel on several occasions. However maintenance doesn't seem high on the agenda. The main staircase has a dirty appearance, paint on the banisters rails and posts has worn out and is very grubby. Our room had a constant low droning noise which disturbed sleep. Hotel entrance is compromised by cigarette remains left by smokers using the adjacent pub.

We have stayed in Premier Inns all over the UK and always find them convenient and fairly priced for our type of travel requirements which usually involves a busy schedule of events away from the hotel facilities. For us, they are absolutely ideal for a value-for-money good nights sleep in spacious, clean rooms.

Room was clean and comfortable, and check-in staff were friendly and efficient. We only had one set of towels in the room, so had to request second set. We slept well and the hotel was quiet. The restaurant was very disappointing. Crispy potato skin starters where pale and insipid, and certainly not crispy. Worse tho, was breakfast the next morning. Crockery felt as though it had a residue of something over the surface. I suspect the dishwasher needed a thorough clean. The hot water dispenser was very dirty of the stainless steel front. The carpet near our table had remnants of the previous night's food still evident. Some items were running out early in the breakfast sitting. I would be happy to book a room for overnight accommodation again, but would think twice about booking for the restaurant.
