I asked to switch to a room on the opposite side, but the front desk staff brushed me off, saying the hotel was full. However, the hotel clearly didn't seem busy at all; the occupancy rate couldn't have been that high."

"It’s overall quite outdated, but I feel like that is the charm of this hotel. I loved the location and easy access to everything. Very walkable. Only downside is just the homeless population around the corner at the park. But homeless problem is prevalent around the city. I didn’t feel particularly unsafe as a solo female traveler. Service was great and I probably wouldn’t mind staying there again."

"We fly in from Hawaii, our flight delayed 3 hours, so we arrived at the hotel at 4am, the girl at the counter was walking towards outside and saw us entering the hotel with luggages without saying a word, we thought she was stepped out just a bit, and waited in the lobby, but she disappeared! There was another man in the lobby he tried to help us find her however no luck. We were so very tired and waited in the lobby for half an hour, she finally came in and gave us the key of the room, it only took like 2 minutes. If it were that simple, why not just handed the key to us upon our arrival, we tried to make phone calls, but the phone rang right in front of us in the counter with nobody inside, it's very very very frustrated."
