As a summary: rather spend more money and take the Kempinski next door.
This „Lifeclass“ hotel is faded glory. The provided pics for „Standard double room with sea view“ are not realistic. I paid more than USD 330 for an old, worn-out hotel room! The sea view was a view on an old pool deck...
The parking situation is as already described. The reception‘s quote: „we have a hotel parking, to find a free space, good luck“.
Positive: Terme looks nice and renovated from outside and the breakfast was good.

Locazione ottima, ubicato al centro della cittadina e a ridosso delle terme, l'hotel offre tutti i servizi richiesti con uno standard elevato. Camera eccellente , un po' scarna la prima colazione, ma nel complesso posso sicuramente consigliare il complesso.

Great stay booked the half board deal. Restaurant and food fine with a decent choice - staff seemed helpful and sorted out table efficiently. Came to table with drinks nice and pleasant ambience. On arrival, we upgraded the room to a sea view without any fuss. I just checked what was available and agreed on the price, which made a big difference, especially as the sun was beaming down in February! There are lots of nice strolls and drinks on the sea front. The hotel bar was a bit busy in the evening time. Had to wait a fair while to be served, but it was ok as the piano man was playing away, so it felt nice and relaxed! Hotel close to everything bus stop straight outside to Piran, which is absolutely beautiful. Found the hotel spotlessly clean. Would recommend. It's our second visit, and we'll probably go back.

We are guests of this hotel for many years now. Every year we come back which stands as proof of our satisfaction. Greatest compliments are for polite and amazing staff, starting with reception and housekeepers, staff that takes car of guests cars all up to people working in restaurant. Everyone is so professional and ready to help. Food is good, delicious and fresh with lots of choice. However, desserts could be better, to be honest. Fruit selection is great. We were disappointed to see that beautiful white table cloths are taken down from the restaurants and that tables are left empty. Now, former high-end restaurant seems like an express restaurant and that's just sad. Hopefully, hotel will bring back table cloths, at least for dinner. That's one small detail that matters so much to guests. We always reserve executive double room with sea view, which are recently renovated. They are nice, comfortable beds and great view. This time it was a bit cold in the room because heating wasn't strong enough, which wasn't case so far. It was cold in the lobby as well. In the lobby there's a pianist who entertains guests, but we couldn't enjoy the performance due to being cold. Location is amazing - in the city center. Me and my company seriously hope that hotel will take care of these little flaws that weren't there previous years. The hotel is connected with Portoroz Thermal Spa (Terme Portoroz) which disappointed us a lot after so many years. But, more about that in Portoroz Thermal Spa dedicated review.

We got upgrate to a one bedroom suit to 5 star Slovenia hotel located right next door. Very convenient location, beatiful comfortable beach lounges, nice service, great breakfast, convinient location. Excellent thermal spa

The hotel is a mix of old socialist hotel with a touch of modernization. Still it has its charm and a great location and a adirect access to spa and welness. Rooms are very different and you may get either a versy small or quite nice room for the same price. For breakfast and dinner there is a Swedish buffet. Variety of fodo is quite good, but sometimes food is either undercooked or overcooked. A nice touch is fresh pasta stand in the evenings, and an egg stand in the morning. The dinning room is very cold and staff is unable to regulate the temperature in the room which is a problem if one is sensitive to airconditioning. It is also very crowded. Service is nice.

Nice hotel The rooms need remodeling nice hotel The food is good. The rooms need renovation. Everything looks old. The pool is really nice and big. There are no activities for children. The hotel's surroundings are full of restaurants and souvenir shops. There are water sports nearby

Pros: * well situated * front desk and porters very helpful * great view from balcony Cons: * it is misleading to say this hotel has 2 x pools as only the indoor pool is onsite. The outdoor pool is at a separate sitter hotel! * it is misleading to say there is private parking available. The parking is offsite in a marina car park at the opposite end of town and you have to be ferried back and forth by porters if you need your car. You also have to pay 12 euros per day for the privilege! * it is misleading to say this hotel has a private beach. It is a public beach used by multiple hotels and again you have to pay for the privilege (albeit it is slightly discounted for hotel guests). * rooms were dated * buffet breakfast was super busy and disappointing
