Hotel Marko

This cozy hotel is always my first choice when I'm in Portorož. The location is brilliant, the park that surrounds the hotel as well. The furniture is old-fashionde style, but I love this chic of a bygone era. The staff is extremely friendly, the food is good. Dinners are served in a beautiful dining room that gives you a sense of importance, and the price of the food is significantly lower than you would expect (I hope they don't go up in price because of this comment :)). Parking is possible in the garage, which is located in such a way that driver requires a little more concentration, but it is possible.

We loved this hotel. The reception team are super friendly and helpful. Iztok is a fabulous member of the team, really caring about our experience and going out of his way to make sure everything was just right. The whole place feels warm and friendly, the beds are very comfortable, the showers great and the breakfast and dinner beautifully cooked and presented. We were so appreciative that everyone spoke English so well too. We have already recommended this hotel to our friends who are visiting Slovenia soon. A huge and special thank you to the reception team though, they are truly outstanding!

Yesterday me and my friends we decided to go to Portoroz and we decided to stay for one night in Marko Hotel. Staff was very helphul. Ambient and atmosphere was amazing. We had rooms on a seaside with amazing views on a sea. And absolutely amazing morning view on a sunrise. Thank you to all staff

This place is perfect! We received excellent service from friendly and approachable staff. Clean and well presented with a great breakfast and many food choices. Located directly across from the water/beach. We were particularly impressed with the two young male staff who were there when we checked in and out. They showed interest in guests and were quite accommodating. Cannot remember their names, but one was working at reception in the afternoon on 12 July when checking in and on 15 July when checking out.

Hotel sullo splendido lungomare . Tranquillo e piacevole soggiorno in questa grande villa con giardino ampio e curato. Camere pulite e perfettamente riordinate. Peccato per l'odore che talvolta proviene dallo scarico del bagno. Prima colazione abbondante e di qualità; ristorante di livello con menù fissi o alla carta. Personale impeccabile. Belle villa dans un jardin magnifique. L’accès au parking souterrain est difficile et pas de sonnette d’ouverture. Il faut faire le check in avant. Accueil froid impersonnel. On se croit dans les années 70. Les chambres sont propres mais à l'ancienne. La salle de bains est sombre et douche dans une petite cabine. Le balcon donne sur le jardin et la mer au loin après la route. La connexion Wifi est erratique et de bas débit et la climatisation est peu efficace, obligé de dormir la fenêtre ouverte. Apéritif agréable sous la tonnelle. Diner en terrasse avec serveur en tenue à l’ancienne. Bon choix de plats à tendance italienne. Pas de menu proposé (signalé sur le voucher).Petit déjeuner agréable en terrasse avec choix. Prix excessif pour un confort limité en chambre mais tout est cher dans la région.
