Girls Saturday! Was able to check in early. Got texts welcoming us before we got there. Very friendly, welcoming. Free parking. We had the loft on the 4th floor. 2 twins and king. Couch and chairs to chat for a bit. Couch a bit dated up there and needs to be changed out but beds were fabulous and sooo comfy!!
Great breakfast with overnight oats, yogurt parfaits and fruit cups. Coffee was delish and I am picky. No need to go to Starbucks down the street.
Downtown Portsmouth stores and restaurants are 5 min walk. Came back to a warm fireplace.
The Hotel of Portsmouth is a gem and will be back

Highly recommend THP, staff were wonderful, only a 5 min walk to main streets, building and rooms are beautifully kept. Elevators are rare in these old hotels so was glad to have one for luggage. We would definitely return. Roberts Maine Grill (15 min cab) is phenomenal seafood. Maison Navarre is authentic French cuisine and gifts - get the French Toast!

Fantastic period hotel with great staff, location and parking, which is tough in Portsmouth.
Will definitely be our go to hotel in Portsmouth going forward.
Only very slight grumble is no kettle or coffeemaker in the room, but definitely not enough to reduce from 5 stars across the board.

Great location with a beatuful renovated old house/hotel. Service was great. Only drawback was the bed was a little soft.

Very charming property near downtown. The woodwork in this Victorian mansion alone was worth the price of admission. Nice breakfast, too!

Such a cute hotel and really friendly staff. We got some food recommendations from the front desk that were incredible! Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel Portsmouth was very lovely, I quite enjoyed the way they have blended modern and older design styles together and it seamlessly works great!
The staff were very friendly and accommodating and I enjoyed the breakfast options available. I am planning on coming back to Portsmouth, it is great to know I have a good spot to come to

The location is great. Portsmouth is a cool town and downtown, waterfront, and restaurants are all walkable
