Pousada Casa de Maria is very pretty in the photos. It is very floral.
But it is like being in a Prison Camp.
You get a feeling of oppression, and clostrophobia. Plus all their rules.
It is a pretty Hotel. The food is good.
But the constant intrusion of the staff and owner.
One time we were eating our meal at the table, and the staff told us to lift our plates and glasses so she could wipe the table.
A total intrusion.
You are trying to relax by the pool, which is more ornamental than functional, and the owner is carrying out constant maintenance, all day.
Fussing around the plants and grass that your sun bed rest on.
A normal hotel would have a sprinkler system.
The owner has a sprayer bottle, (maybe 5 litres) tied to a two wheel shopping trolley, that she makes an over performance of pushing around the garden.
This is her all day, daily ritual.
All the staff carry out their jobs in a very slow way.
No quick efficiency.
Some of the reception staff, are not customer friendly.
You can always escape to the beach and just use the hotel as somewhere to sleep.
All in all. My opinion of this hotel is it is best avoided. Unless you like being treated like you are an inconvenience.

This was our second time staying here and we were treated just as well as the first time. The owner and staff are absolutely wonderful. The property underwent some beautiful renovations since our last visit 4 years ago. It is absolutely gorgeous. The room was beautifully updated and very comfortable. Love the area and that it’s walkable to the beach and into town. The food and drinks were top notch too.

Não conheci as demais pousadas da região, mas não existe a possibilidade de eu voltar em Prado e não ficar hospedado na Casa de Maria, simplesmente ESPETACULAR !!! Tudo perfeito, quartos impecáveis, banheiros extraordinários, café da manhã sem igual, os funcionários super educados e simpáticos, preço justo, culinária TOP, piscina e sauna perfeitos, vou indicar a todos amigos, que lugar sensacional. Parabéns aos proprietários e funcionários!

Estivemos lá em março de 2024 e, abaixo, segue nossa sincera avaliação. Pontos positivos: a beleza do paisagismo (show de plantas em todo canto); piscina com bom tamanho, bem tratada e gostosa cascata; sauna a vapor agradável e muito limpa, além de ótimo atendimento. Pontos negativos: café da manhã com poucas opções (e nada que nos fizesse querer repetir). O quarto "premium" deixou a desejar: pequeno, box pela metade (a água da ducha invade a área da pia) e ar condicionado muito barulhento. Acresce que se você sair do quarto e nele ficar outra pessoa, dormindo com o ar condicionado ligado, o aparelho desliga, ficando essa pessoa privada do conforto térmico, até que você volte. Dá pra entender? Em resumo: se você preza um ótimo café da manhã, sossego e conforto na hora de dormir, repense. Se os outros itens acima (piscina, sauna e beleza da pousada) são o que importa, então vá, sem medo. Nossa nota à pousada seria 6,0.

Pousada muito bem estruturada, acomodações satisfatórias, limpas, arejadas e de muito bom gosto. Todo o atendimento desde a comunicação, passando pela recepção, utilização dos espaços e check out. Todos os funcionários são muitos simpáticos, as instalações muito bem cuidadas e definidas, localização da pousada excelente e em lugar muito tranquilo, muito perto da praia. Super recomendo.

Lugar lindo e aconchegante, ótimo para descansar e aproveitar a natureza, fica perto do centro, café da manhã delicioso, quarto muito confortável, e as funcionárias são muito atenciosas. Uma coisa muito legal que a pousada oferece, é a observação do céu a noite através de um telescópio, com ele é possível ver a lua de perto, planeta e as estrelas. Recomendo de olhos fechados.

A Pousada Casa de Maria para mim é a melhor do Prado, aconchegante, limpeza impecável, café da manhã farto e diversificado,o ambiente é tranquilo e relaxante. Recomendo a todos conhecer esse recanto.Os funcionários e a proprietária nos atendem com muita gentileza.

Atendimento é bom e cordial; limpeza excelente; café da manhã com suco natural e frutas de qualidade. Cama confortável, ducha boa. Piscina e área externa proporcionam bom relaxamento. Gostei do custo benefício. Pode melhorar: Toalha de banho poderia ter melhor qualidade/ ser pouco mais grossa.
