Koruna Hotel

I had a booking with Koruna hotel through *********** which clearly stated I was entitled to one free date change if amended before 04/12/23. I did this through *********** however have had a nigh**are trying to get this sorted. Koruna hotel were stalling this so it went past the amendment date. They were then ignoring phone calls and emails from *********** and when I tried to call the hotel directly the receptionist was extremely rude, continued to talk over me and then hung up. Shocking customer service!!!

This us only a 3 for the fantastic location. The hotel itself is a 2 at best. The location is fantastic with a short walk to Charles Bridge, Astronomical Clock, Wenceslas Square and the Franz Kafka head. It's also close to the trams that take you to the castle and the metro. It was great and allowed us to return to the hotel in the day to rest before venturing back out. Our stay didn't start off well. Initially we were rushed getting to the hotel from the airport, due to strikes in France our flight was delayed and the hotel had been ringing us while in the airplane saying we had until 5pm to check-in or we'd be classed as late arrivals. We landed at 5:30pm. Unbeknown to us the reception desk closes at 3pm daily and they only kept it open until 5pm for us; the website we booked on claimed the reception desk was manned until 9pm. When we eventually arrived it was like an escape room, a lock box to get into the two front doors then a safe to get the room key. The pictures online are severely outdated. Inside it was just white sheets on broken beds. Rusty nails stuck out of the skirting boards that were hanging off the wall and the laminate flooring was lifted off the floor. We couldn't complain to staff because they weren't there. A thick layer of dust covered most furniture with a previous guests cigarettes found under the bed, great. We had a broken TV and Kettle. There were only 2 working power outlets. The windows let in all the street noise so we didn't get a great quality of sleep. There was also a University bar nearby where all students would block the street and smoke in large groups, as non-smokers it made stepping out of the hotel an unpleasant experience with breathing in large clouds of cigarette smoke. We paid for breakfast upon booking; hotel doesn't have a restaurant. We asked for extra pillows; hotel didn't have any. We asked for tea, coffee and milk for our room; hotel doesn't stock any. The hotel gave us a 10% voucher to a pub nearby that promised food; the pub didn't serve food. There was no housekeeping every day. Wet towels were left on the bathroom floor for 3 days before staff came to clean it. When our beds were changed the sheets were stained. We were left with dirty mugs for the tea and coffee we had to buy ourselves for the entire duration of the stay. It was as though this hotel is on the verge of closing and management had given up maintaining it. Very run down and staff were rarely seen. I wouldn't return.

The rooms were very clean and warm. The staff was always kind and friendly. The position of the hotel is really nice because it is close to the most of the sightseeing. The only flaw was that the mattress were really hard and the pillows too soft.

The hotel is fine if you are in Prague as a tourist spending your whole day outside exploring the city and only visit there just to sleep. 3/5 is because of the lack of amenities that are promised in the TA, such as high speed internet and free breakfast.

Viene spacciato per un tre stelle ma la realtà è ben diversa. Lo riconduco più ad una sorta di affitta camere anche per la presenza discontinua della reception e la mancanza di ristorante e breakfast. È comodo per visitare la città e se volete risparmiare, ma dovrete fare un compromesso con il servizio (pulizie, letti e simili)

Мы были в конце июня, с семьей отмечали мой юбилей,в этом отеле были уже не первый раз.Хочу выразить лично Катюше на рецепшине за ее доброту,внимание,мы очень ей благодарны,также всему персоналу большое спасибо, номера убирались было чисто и уютно. Огромная благодарность от всей нашей семьи.

Hôtel simple et équipement fonctionnel. Néanmoins plusieurs avantages : le personnel très sympathique et qui fournit les explications nécessaires, un petit cadeau donné au check out, la situation très pratique. Pour la clientèle musulmane, la situation est idéale car l’hôtel est quasiment collé à une mosquée.

O hotel é bem simples, assoalho torto, elevador pequeno, travesseiros ruins, chuveiro minúsculo. A cama e o café da manhã são bons. A localização também, próximo a vários pontos turísticos. Nosso quarto tinha vazamento no vaso sanitário, a ducha do chuveiro com jato desregulado. Muito barulho na rua, por isso que no quarto eles fornecem tampão de ouvido. Tem opções melhores.

Всем привет,я редко пишу отзывы, но так как отзывов за последний год мало, решила оставить своё впечатление об отеле. Сначала о расположение: отель расположен крайне не удобно на мой взгляд, его не находит навигатор,такси нас высадило на соседней удице и мы плутали по улочкам с чемоданом минут 20. Такая же история и с поиском по возвращении в отель с прогулки, его так просто не найти))) Завтраков в отеле нет, хотя на букинге заявлено, что они есть. Как нам объяснили, что это из за пандемии))) очень удобно на неё ссылаться. Сам номер на первый взгляд чисто, но очень все просто, три звезды доя Европы очень слабые. Очень не приятный момент с чайником, он есть, а розетка для него отсутствует, исхищряйтесь как хотите. Холодильника тоже нет, при бронировании не обратили внимание на этот момент. Прага конечно не разочаровала, очень красиво многолюдно и новогодняя атмосфера.
