Hotel Residence Spalena

I had an amazing stay at residence Spalena. The staff was friendly and attentive, the room was immaculate, and the location was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The room was clean and beautifully appointed.

We were staying in this hotel for 2 days. The guy forgot to give as breakfast cards, so they did not want to give us breakfasts. After we got our breakfast we asked to clean our room. But no one did it. We came to the reception to ask why they did not clean the room. The girl on the reception said that we had to put a paper sign. No one was telling us that information during check-in.

I do not advise anyone to book this hotel! The rooms are dirty, the maids do not do their job at all, when we went to the front desk, the girl asked the maids to immediately come to our room, but no one came. At breakfast we told the waiter about this, he called the chef, to which he answered us that everyone knows about this problem and negligence, but the manager is not interested in it

stayed in this hotel for 3 days. When we checked in, we discovered that we were not provided with towels. We went down to the reception. Manager Dayana did not understand for a long time what we wanted. She offered us free breakfasts instead of towels. It took us 15 minutes to explain that we just wanted towels, which they didn't provide us.

We encountered a problem with cleaning the rooms. They didn't change our towels. We wanted to discuss this with the manager, but she was never at work. During our entire stay at this hotel, we were never able to meet the manager

Stayed at this hotel in September. When we arrived at the hotel to check-in, there was no one at the reception. Although we arrived at 17:00. About 20 minutes later a guy came and checked us in. The room looked clean, but it was very dusty, dirty dishes and a microwave. The next day, we put up a housekeeping sign and they just changed our towels. When we went to the reception in the evening to find out why they hadn’t cleaned our room, the reception was again closed for a break. And then it closed completely. They need to work on the cleanliness.

I stayed in this place with my girlfriend for about 3 nights and the place was perfect for us. It is positioned very close to the Old Town and you can walk to many places, like Charles bridge and Prague Castle by foot. Also, there are many coffee shops and pubs around!

We didn't stay here but had an evening meal here. Food was great and staff were very attentive. Would recommend eating here. Next time we visit Prague, we may decide to stay here. It's in a very convenient position.

We stayed at the hotel from 19 to 24 August. We booked a month and a half in advance, the only request was to place with a beautiful view from the window. In correspondence with the hotel, I indicated that we were going from Ukraine. In fact, they were placed in the worst room (503) with a non-opening window in the bedroom above the human rata, with a non-closing window in the bathroom overlooking the nearby wall of the neighboring building. The hotel management deliberately placed us in this room, knowing that there would be no hot water in the room (the hotel is carrying out repairs and the lack of water is a consequence of these works). Placed on the 5th floor, the hottest, without the possibility of normal air conditioning, with a broken bed on a sofa bed. On the first day, I pointed out these problems and invited the manager to see the room in person. The manager called the technician in front of me and assured me that the water issue would be resolved in a day. On Monday, it turned out that this was impossible. I was looking for the administrator Diana, who suddenly fell ill, and during my stay at the hotel. I asked her to call. Diana called back and offered compensation of 4 euros per day per person. For 5 nights in a hotel with taxes, I paid 678 euros. This is humiliating and unacceptable. I asked to compensate half of the cost of living, discuss this issue with the hotel management and call me back. At the time of check-out from the hotel, Diana did not call me back. The hotel did not compensate. This is rudeness, fraud and disrespect for guests. I hope Diana will read this message, call me and make a payment. I do not recommend the hotel if respect for your rights is important to you, hot water, comfortable air in the room, healthy sleep, cleanliness of the room (clearing was not carried out even once in 5 days). Water was left at the door. We took out the garbage in the corridor on our own. The kitchen has a more decorative function, since there is no kitchen hood in the room. Given the above, the hotel does not correspond to the level of 4 stars. I want to note that this is my first negative review.
