Where to begin…I travel a lot for work and for pleasure, staying at a variety of different locations.
1. 4PM check in? Need I say more?
2. At waiting around for 3 hours for the 4PM check in, I was “upgraded” to a “newly renovated” room that was a smaller bed I booked and paid for. On top of that there was some red jelly substance on the floor, the closet doors didn’t stay open and really didn’t shut, the fan in the bathroom didn’t work, the knob to turn the water on / temperate was like an inch off the wall and cocked, and the toilet was smaller than a Home Depot 5 gallon bucket.
I have stayed at a variety of Marriot properties including many Omni properties and for the higher price they charged for this location I’d expect at least a mid-tier experience.
I literally came in from another work trip where I stayed at an Aloft, a marriot property, near a major airport and paid half the price / night and not only was the service better, the room was cleaner, actually put together, and was given the room I reserved and paid for.
