Communion 2020 at Hotel LORD. Food OK, room decor OK. However, despite the previous setting with the hotel manager, the menu was given a cheaper salad from the set, although the menu was bought more expensive. In addition, the party handler gave the children the wrong soup that was set before (only after paying attention the rest of the children brought the right soup). In the middle of the reception the handler approached the guests without a mask!!!! After the party was finished, a parking lot was counted different than the amount it was fixed for cars (I tried to explain it in the reception but you said you didn't know what time the cars arrived, Although the parking ticket is charged at the entrance, I cannot count as much as the parking rate was fixed in the reception agreement (I will add that the parking rate was daily rather than hourly .....) Another minus - for alcohol fees. With you the event manager, the amounts for the alcohol received were fixed, and the manager also started to count bottles of wine without alcohol (which I had previously fixed with you the manager as free of charge) And when I pointed to the manager, he said that your manager is not aware of this and should not be so determined. I, as a customer, should not care about the internal clashes of the hotel staff, it does not look professional. In conclusion - more minus than pluses. In my plans I was going to have another family party in this hotel but after the communal reception I find that there were too many derogations from the arrangements and attempts to draw me on extra costs: (It was a pity because I expected more after the 4-star hotel, at least after the service (except the cook who got a medal).

The hostel is really super and directly at the old town. The next bus stop is about 200m away. To Warsaw Centralna you are running about 40 minutes or you just take the bus or the metro. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You get tips for food and activities. Also, from the hostel is always offered programs on Wednesday to Sunday evening. In the garden/terrace you can easily meet other travelers. We were in a double room and that was really nice. It was clean and had a closet and shower and toilet. Unfortunately, the water pressure in the third floor was very low and the mattress was already somewhat through. Eating is not available in the hostel except for snacks, but some drinks. The kitchen is very clean and has largely everything you need. As well, lift is helpful when you bring baggage. All in all despite the two small “deficiencies” very recommended. I would book it again.

”Pre-Paid” and was told on arrival that I had to purchase sheets to use my booked bed (not specified on the booking site used), and then upon purchasing such, the receptionist who didn't even check my ID said ”we don't have any pillow cases, is this ok?” - so I had to wrap a sheet around the pillow....though this was the least of the issues. My room had a homeless man in it whose luggage was covered in dirt and he used the shower/sink to wash his clothes until 4am, which he dried with the hairdryer. He also shaved his head with a trimmer....again...between 3-4am with the lights on...ofc. 'Grim' is an understatement... The first chair I sat on upon checking out in the lobby had a wet teabag on it, and I paid £1.46 at the desk for a small bottle of water....in Poland. This place is a depressing and clinical semi-worker and homeless shelter for the most part. I only stayed for 9 hours...and that was enough. The only positives were the room furnishings and the free luggage room, but of course...I wouldn't recommend :(

The hotel is close to the airport and the price is very reasonable. The only problem is that there is no direct bus or shuttle bus to the airport which means it will take you about 20 min to get to the airport. Others are very satisfactory.

Stayed here during the pandemic mid July. Takes the pandemic very seriously. Mask wearing enforced. Sanitizer everywhere. This was important for us as one of us had an operation while here. Wifi has different connections depending on what area of hotel you are in. 1 for room, 1 for hotel area, 1 for bar. We had no problem video calling and binging on netflix. Staff are lovely, rooms and hotel very clean. Food is lovely in the restaurant. Breakfast is what you expect. Eggs, sausage, bacon, cold ham, cheese, tomatoes and some polish choices. Pastries & rolls, variety of teas & coffees. Uber will deliver to the hotel room door. (We weren't venturing too far from the hotel). I'd definitely recommend a stay here. No housekeeping during pandemic (suited us and dont know if we asked would they clean the room), everything that isnt essential is removed from the room but a quick call to reception and they have whatever you want to your door. They are that fast, dont take a quick trip to the bathroom, you wont have time. They are at your door in lightening speed. Its impressive. You leave your rubbish or dirty towels etc outside the room door and the staff collect them. Used taxis to get into Warsaw (afraid to get on the bus or metro due to surgery) cost about 10e. Great social distancing. The Polish are definitely taking the pandemic seriously. Felt safer here than at home.

I stayed recently at the hotel for the timeframe of mid-march 2022, and enjoyed the food (loved the artichoke pasta dishes and the turkey club sandwich with bacon), and the hospitality. For us English speaking folks, it was very easy to communicate with the staff, both at the front desk, and with the bar / wait staff. The staff was respectful, and were willing to help you with any reasonable request. From assisting me with booking train tickets on my laptop for local trips, to scheduling COVID testing for my flight home. The staff was very friendly and considering the present environment was very generous with their time. I would go back in a heartbeat, as it is close to a local grocery store, their rooms have a large safe, easy to accommodate a laptop, and a small refrigerator. The rooms are relatively sound proof, so if you are mostly active at night vs. the day sleeping during daylight hours this is not an issue. If you do go to the local grocery store, just a reminder, you need to bring your own bags, and you have bag all the items your self, not typically something you see in the US. Everyone in the area walks everywhere, so there are distinct walking paths vs. bicycling paths, and all pedestrians have the right of way in the cross walks. That being said, situational awareness is key, as vehicle speeding signs are mostly a suggestion rather than the rule. Folks park on the sidewalks, as no one parks on the street. Almost no one except for tourists walk with their phones out, as locals keep a good eye on vehicles and fellow pedestrians. Overall I would like to thank the staff for the generosity, and help with some of the simple tasks that I found challenging due to the language barrier, overall making my trip a success. We stayed in this hotel for two nights; at our arrival we found that the hotel is not equipped with a parking for its customers that is not payable, which personally never happened, And the price, among other things, is almost the amount we paid for a week of car rental. My room reservation was aimed at choosing a larger bed and what we found was a bed from a half-short, very uncomfortable square. But the most beautiful surprise was breakfast: at the time of our arrival, the two boys at the reception told us that breakfast would be held from 7 to 10, which was exactly the first day; On the second and last morning we were informed that our breakfast was not included in the paid package and that we should have added 10 euros per person for breakfast, which is, in our personal opinion, crazy for a 3-star hotel in Poland, among other things in the The region is close to Warsaw. I do not recommend this hotel because of its staff. I booked 4 nights and messaged them upfront that I needed a quiet room because I had an exam I needed to study for. After 1st day they started drilling, I called and talked to a manager and she told me that I should have read before on their website that they have renovations and will not stop. This is outrageous to take the money, read my request and do nothing... Trip.com helped me with this matter and Novotel stopped drilling for a while and compensated me with a 150 Zl voucher after I had to wait again because of Novotel's awful staff, and Novotel told me they will reimburse my 2 breakfasts and this never happened (they lied to me as I can see). Otherwise, the hotel and room were clean.
