Nautilus Lanzarote

Spent 9 nights at nautilus in matagourda . 1st time in this small town close to PDC na d the airport . Nice stay . The complex was truly accessible for mobility issues although we haven't we understand the demand for this facility . Had a wonderful designer chic feel . Seems the owners have good contact and an eye for style . The reception is also a art gallery . Less than 5 mins into maragourda town centro. About 30 mins walk to PDC or a bus from the top road would take 10 mins . Complex and pool was clean . Hydraulic loft into the pool for wheelchair users . Good patio to bathe in the wonderful lanzarote sunshine and shelter from the lanzarote winds . Cleaning maids to the apartment were friendly but too early for us . Leave it another 2 hours . They came before 9 . Planning to return next winter and happy to recommend d to others .

Currently staying in the Oceanic Suite (Feb 10-22) I'm a partner in a very busy & socially demanding business and have come here with my husband for a well deserved break after our busiest period at work (Christmas & local festivals) and to celebrate our first wedding anniversary on the 14th. We chose Nautilus because I have read all the lovely reviews about how peaceful it is here. We're in our 40s, we're not party people and this is the most perfect hotel for 100% relaxation! It's quiet, no bar noises, no drunk neighbours arguing or kids running around screaming. We feel completely unbothered by anyone which is a first! Everyone that stays here seems to be respectful and considerate, unlike many other resorts! In the suite is a private garden where we can sit undisturbed and enjoy our own plunge pool. We also have private sunbathing on the roof where we get the sun all day. I find sunbathing comfortably around strangers quite difficult so this has made our holiday so much more enjoyable! The staff are fantastic, friendly & helpful, they will quickly sort out any problems you may have. Housekeeping is to a great standard! The grounds are well kept and beautifully clean. The apartment is spacious and beautiful. There's everything you need for self catering (although fantastic restaurants are mere moments away) There's a lot of lighting options, a plethora of plug sockets in any area you could think of including the outdoor areas! The shower facilities are great and our bed is extremely comfortable! We love it! I'm so happy we chose this hotel and we have many more days to enjoy it, I just couldn't wait to start my review because it's so nice here! I will most likely add to this before we leave.

Just returned from a 10 day stay at Nautilus, a lovely clean complex with fabulous art work around, within a few minutes walk to all amenities, bungalows are spacious & cleaned to a high standard, a big shout out to Lidia, she was so friendly & each morning had a lovely smile for you, the beds were comfy, lovely loungers on the patio along with beach towels, just booked to return in November

We have stayed here at least 6 times and absolutely love it. This time we stayed for 3 weeks over Christmas and New Year and decided to treat ourselves to a superior one-bedroom adapted apartment. Warm reception from Marina and shown to our room, which overlooked the little pitch & putt course. The room - really, its like a little bungalow - was large and although neither of us actually needs an adapted apartment, it does have a lot of space for those that need the space to turn a mobility scooter etc. Also helpful that it has a SmartTV, so great for catching up with Netflix etc should you want to. As much as we love the Nautilus, we have to be honest and say many of the furnishings are in need of updating and refurbishment. This includes in our room the fridge/freezer (battered, marked and with broken shelves inside & it needed to be defrosted), the wardrobe & bedside tables are now very tatty. Many of the bed sheets (although clean) had holes in them too! As I say, we have to be honest BUT would add that the room was kept spotlessly clean by the cheerful house-keeping staff (thank you). We also find the pool too cold to use and it could really be quite a few degrees warmer. Our room had a lovely south-facing patio, so great for sitting outside for lunch or sunbathing. So, despite one or two minor points, we love the place, the staff, and the location. And 'yes', we will be returning next Christmas!

I had an extremely distressing experience at this hotel as a solo female traveler. The receptionist's behavior was highly inappropriate and made me feel unsafe. He repeatedly asked if I was alone, commented on the lack of cameras on the premises, and attempted to solicit my social media information. This conduct was unsettling and left me feeling anxious and vulnerable. I was so uncomfortable that I had to call a friend to pick me up. Additionally, the hotel has attempted to charge me $900 even though I am no longer in Lanzarote. This is alarming, and I am considering filing a police report regarding this issue. The conditions of the hotel were also unacceptable. The facilities were unclean, with visible blood around the toilet seat, which was incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Absolutely loved it. So clean and friendly staff , our Xmas and new year was lovely,, I’ve never been to Matagorda before. But will def go back , so near the beach , shops restaurant & bars . A lovely walk along the beach promenade. The apartments were lovely and clean , had everything in there, would definitely go back…
