Sol Lanzarote All Inclusive

We enjoyed a week here in February. The place was immaculately clean and tidy. With young children there was plenty to do and places nearby to visit. Food was a concern before travelling but I am glad to say our worry was not justified. There was so much choice and different options every day. Plenty of choice pretty much all day long and the entertainment was also very good. So much so we are looking to stay again next year.

Jst an average hotel, could be good with a little effort! Tired needs updating! Don't get the paper cup policy, seems like a lot of waste! Room was a great size, but again needed a little tlc here and there! Bathroom definitely needed work, a shaver socket wouldn't go a miss! Location was great, can't get closure to the beach than here!

Pros: Great location. In front of the beach and basically next to Irish pubs and shops (for all the good quality versions of the fake Bags and belts and clothes and anything you need for beach and pool and souvenirs) and restaurants by the sea. There are no cars allowed-it’s bikes and pedal carts and walkers and joggers all along the seafront in front of the hotel between the pool and the sea. You can rent the bikes and carts and mobility scooters right outside if you want them. Excellent kids club/animation team. Water carpet every day at 1pm for the kids is great. Water games in the afternoon are fantastic and the lifeguards and animation team are wonderful. Nice looking rooms, clean rooms, clean hotel indoor and outdoor areas. Cleaning staff do a very good job. Massage place is the best massage and reflexology I have ever had. Layout of the whole place is great and well thought out (except for snack bar-see cons!) with everything very centralized compared to some All Inclusives that have pools all over. The 3 pools are together. Excellent new playground which is a bit away from the pools and is quiet-there are loungers over by it that are great if you want some peace-it’s like a hidden spot. Good size big rooms (we had superior sea view 3309 third floor-nice size with fridge and microwave and nice size bathroom 285€ smallish balcony and beautiful view of pool and the sea and beautiful sea waves sound at nice with the doors open. Local beer in the taps is fine (but see cons!). The a**osphere and vibe around the pool is lively but still classy. There is loud music but not overly loud and there are quieter parts. It’s a good place for families and also grandparents and older visitors without kids with activities for adults on the terrace throughout the day…there is a nice balance and they have done very well with the entertainment and overall vibe. Games room and pool tables etc are reasonable and don’t overly rip the kids off. A** on site. Laundry and gym all handy and well taken care of. Good signage and all very easy to find. Hairdressers and small souvenir shop and a very handu well priced little supermaket for food and water and all sorts of bits is just by the front entrance.Reception is the hub for all things needed which makes things nice and simple. Taxis easily called from reception. Puerto Del Carmen ***** is €5 and 5-10 mins away and taxis turn up out front immediately. Cons: Restaurant is like a big self serve cafeteria with mostly sloppy saucy dishes. We are not big drinkers so didn’t think we would care about the bad reviews of the drinks system-but it’s truly awful. Wine in a paper cup from a push button type machine just feels so icky and not a holiday fresh drink vibe. All the fresh drinks at the bar (vodka and mixer, rum and mixer, mojito etc) were just as bad…everything tastes cheap and chemically. Same taste off the food and even the coffee and ice creams…chemical taste…cheap ingredients? Bad water? Not sure. Beer from the

I stayed at this lovely hotel with my friend for 10 days . We arrived May 10th . We upgraded to a seaview room which although rather expensive it is well worth the money . The rooms are clean and spacious the beds were very comfy. The staff were kind and very friendly. The hotel is constantly cleaned . The food was plentiful so much to choose from every day . Ok it could have been a bit hotter but it didn’t ruin our holiday.Take no notice of the negative reviews some people just like to moan and find fault with anything . We had the most wonderful time in the most beautiful location and I can honestly say this is the nicest hotel I’ve been to . Your holiday is what you make it … we will certainly be back . Wasn't the best but at the same time it wasn't awful. Food was delicious! Just wasn't very hot sometimes. We only used the pool area once or twice we mainly went out and about walking and exploring a lot which was our choice. 1 or 2 staff not very nice sadly. Weren't told check out time when we checked in so on last day we came back to find the room locked hubby paid for us to have it longer but wasn't best pleased. Charged to use the safe another negative as that was €18 gone for the week. We hadn't been on a holiday where you check out late since we were much younger so we had no idea by the way. Room when we arrived the floor was really dirty. Maids were fine with cleaning then on though. We would maybe return in the future to this hotel if not definitely to Matagorda as it was close to airport. So close to the beach and local amenities etc. We were there 7 nights for our first year wedding anniversary (29th) and hubbys 39th b'day. Mentioned when we checked in but nothing was said more or anything nice to make it special :/

Well what can i say about Sol Lanzarote.. after reading the page on facebook we booked 11nights total 9 of us. On first impressions it looks great right by the beach 3 pools sea view, couldnt ask for more🤔🤔 then it was meal time.. cold cold cold no matter what time you go down or to what meal. When you tell someone its cold only to be told theres a micowave there to use😲😲 4☆ not a chance. If you take food back to your room with in minutes its covered in red ants. Then the cleaners had a go at my daughter about my gran daughter being sick in the room at 5am, told us we drink to much( watered down cocktails n beer) yeah right lol. The pools are all cold no one in the 2 big ones for more than a few minutes. Yes they do alot to entertain you but at the expence of the kids pool. And the aera around .. they was painting every day no signs saying wet paint as my brothers boy got all white paint down his football top. Reported only to be told nothing they can do.. the stage is falling to bit with cable ties holding the roof slates on .. Right now for the facebook group Sol Lanzarote now fan group.. its a scam if you say what your stay was like in a negitive way it will be removed and you will get blocked.. so you wont see what the real truth is. We love Lanzarote but wont be returning to this hotel... TBH FLORA is far better and more welcoming.

It’s the worst all-inclusive hotel I’ve been to. The reception staff is only helpful to Spanish guests. On the first night, there was no bed linen on the fold-out bed, and it was like sleeping on cardboard. There were no tea bags or complimentary water, and the kettle tasted strongly of limescale. The food was cold and hard, and the plates were dirty. The entertainment could have been better if it were in English. The safety deposit costs 18 euros, and you have to phone up reception for a code (can’t reset it!!). I was not told about beach towels until I found out after checking out. Not a 4 star and more a 2-star, not worth the money spent.

Positive: Amazing views, spacious rooms, very clean and safe. Staff is amazing. Negative: The huge downside is food! Cold or luke warm, when asked about it I’ve been told to reheat in microwave provided in dining area! Shocking. In 4 star hotel they can’t manage to keep food warm. No theme food nights, sea food no existing beside fish here and there which you couldn’t eat. Meat couldn’t even bite sometimes. Disappointed after paying few k€ had to eat out, and cheese baguettes for breakfast. The waste at end of each dining time is shocking! They put everything into the bins! Swimming pool small, sun beds so close to each other you can’t even pass between. Towels left on sun beds for whole day no one else could use them. There is no 3 restaurants but one with poll bar and snack bar. The umbrellas in dining area mouldy and broken. How this hotel has 4 stars I don’t know as amenities I’ve seen better in 3 star hotels and definitely better food I hoped I would be back here but now is definitely not. I hope the management of this disappointing hotel will do something with food service instead of putting here the same answer to all not positive comments. Telling guests to microwave food is very bad. I do not use microwave even at home.

We stayed for one week in Sol Lanzarote hotel in a Sol extra suite and other family members had a family room both of which were amazing. The little touches you get with an extra suite is just fantastic and the balcony was the largest I have ever seen. The staff at the hotel are among the most professional and friendliest I’ve come across in any hotel and the location of the hotel is second to none. Don’t let the token system put you off for the drinks as it’s only during the day for around the pool and actually is a really good idea and doesn’t cause a problem at all. This hotel gets a five star review from all of us and we will definitely be visiting again.
