Just returned from a lovely 4 night stay with friends and overall we were all really impressed. We arrived at around 1pm and luckily one of our rooms was ready, we had room 1434 on the top floor and it was lovely. Really spacious, lovely big bathroom with a bath, beds comfortable, fridge, kettle and mugs but not tea and coffee in the rooms. The hairdryer provided was actually really good and powerful as well so no need to take your own. A lot of reviews said there was no aircon which worried me as I get hot through the night but our aircon was on and really powerful, not sure if it based on how warm it is or the time of year but it certainly wasn't hot or stuffy in our room at all. There was also shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. I had emailed ahead and asked if I could order any extras for my friends 40th birthday, they told me the options which I decided against but the hotel still left a bottle of prosecco in our room which was really kind. We didn't have a sea view but the we had a lovely view of the mountains. The staff were all friendly but the house keeping staff and bar staff in particular were lovely and the animation team work really hard. The pool areas were all lovely and there were tonnes of sunbeds, as a group of 4 we never struggled to get a group of beds right by the pool but again this could depend on season. The pools were a bit cold for us for the time of year but they were nice and clean and big enough for the amount of beds. Entertainment was ok, there was a magician, 2 dance shows and a singing duo who were good. It is a family hotel so variety is important but the best atmosphere was definitely when the entertainment was singers, other times it felt a little flat. We stayed to watch the entertainment then headed out. We went to a few of the bars to the left of the hotel which were probably more for older people but still had a good atmosphere but we also got a taxi for around €6/7 into Puerto del Carmen for a more lively night out. One thing to note as even though the weather was hot during the day we were quite cold on night times sitting at the hotel, perhaps just from the sea breeze so for the slightly cooler time of year I'd definitely recommend a jacket for night time which I didn't take and regretted it The food and drink wasn't bad, the food was just the usual stuff at an all inclusive, probably a little less choice than what I'm personally used to and there was a lot of fish based dishes but I always found plenty to eat and I'm fussy. They always had pasta, breads, chips and salad with cheeses and meats. The deserts weren't too bad either and there was a chocolate fountain most nights. The drinks were nice though there wasn't a massive cocktail list and they are premixed so not quite as nice as a proper cocktail but still tasty and the bar staff were happy to mix up drinks for you so perhaps if you asked for a cocktail not on the list they may make it fresh. Soft drinks, beer wine and sangeria we
