Ilunion Costa SAL Lanzarote

We came here for the first time, so we were not sure what to expect. Usually we stay elsewhere in Lanzarote and this hotel has replaced our usual one which is not too far from this hotel.We had a fantastic week. This hotel is so welcoming and the staff are just excellent and so good at what they do. The rooms and complex are kept absolutely spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant twice and it would have been more but we made the mistake of eating out and paying a lot more for food that was far inferior to the food in the restaurant, they say that there are themed nights, but here is a great selection of foods for all tastes.We cannot wait to return.

Stayed for 2 weeks and it was an amazing experience. I am a very light sleeper so had requested a villa in a more 'quiet' location at the complex and this was listened to by the beautiful staff at Illunion Costa Sal. I have no complaints to make at all. I slept like a baby. Villas are spotless and are kept spotless by the friendly and hard working house keeping team. All the staff work so hard and could not do enough for us. They made us feel welcome and by the end of our stay, it felt more like a second home. The restaurant is lovely and all the staff and chefs are wonderful. The pool is stunning. If you want pure relaxation then this is the place for you. Thank you to the amazing reception team for all your help and a special thank you to the blonde, curly haired receptionist (I did not catch her name, sorry), who made us feel like family and to Francesca also. But all of the receptionists were amazing We will be back 100%. ＜3 Thank you so much Illunion Lanzarote.

Excellent clean, friendly hotel. Has two pools in different locations within the complex, one for familys/ children and one for adults. The pool area has plenty of seating and is clean. The apar**ent was immaculate and the bedroom sizes were large. There is also a balcony area for sunbathing and eating. There was a good range of food for breakfast and different ranges of food at tea time. The hotel complex itself was very quiet. There is a small supermarket, gym, sauna on site but also an additional supermarket not far from hotel. We couldn't fault the hotel at all.

We had a lovely stay at costa Sal, our room 716 was fantastic and a great location near the base of the hotel complex and by the children’s pool. We were two mins walk from a supermarket and very close to all bars and restaurants and the beach. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately a miscommunication led to us having to hastily check out, no big deal if you’re well but unfortunately I wasn’t.. we’d checked the day before about a late checkout in person at reception and were told to call at 9.30am the morning of departure. Unfortunately during this time I fell ill with a very upset stomach and couldn’t really get out of bed so the husband requested a 4pm checkout so I could pack a little/ rest a little and himself and the child could be by the pool. We were told we had the late checkout.. success - every extra hour is 10 euro - fine!! And well worth it in any scenario. So I packed up 80% of stuff and was lying down trying not to be sick for the 15th time that day and at 2.30pm the phone rings… you shouldn’t be in the room.. sorry what? Yes you should have gone at 2pm… I said but we agreed 4pm, no no it’s 2pm.. so we hastily packed up, showered and flung everything in the bag while a team of 3 cleaners glared through the patio doors. Lugged the bags up to reception - 716 is almost the farthest point away.. and husband and receptionist try to figure out where the miscommunication occurred. I by this point am very feint and propped up in reception. And we have 2.5 hours till the bus collects us! So we trooped into the restaurant (food is lovely there) and I try and doze while they eat and the very nice waitress enquires if there’s anything they could do for me. All in all a lovely stay, I’d also recommend the spa and it’s a beautiful hotel but I feel the late checkout situation should be dealt with face to face to mitigate miscommunication.

Great location, apar**ent suited needs perfectly and was close to bus stop. Arrived at the complex at about 11am, was told room as ready, but unless we paid €20 for early check in. As I was in discomfort as awaiting a spinal op, we paid this. The room allocated was close to pool and reception, had everything we could need. The complex was very disabled friendly and the pool area was very clean. Food wasn’t tried in the restaurant so cannot comment. Towels were regularly replaced, and the room was cleaned frequently. Would happily return here again, as it fitted our needs perfectly.

Lovely hotel, and good value for money! Two beautiful pools with plenty of sun bed availability! Rooms are large and comfortable, with a full kitchen which was welcome! Sheets changed and room cleaned 5 times over our 7 day stay! We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on that! We found the hotel quiet and calm (no happy clappy game playing) so if that’s what you’re after, it’s ideal, it definitely suited us! Would absolutely book again!

We had a very comfortable stay in one of the garden rooms. The beds, sunbeds, kitchen and living space was very well equipped. Lack of Netflix and English channels was a disappoin**ent to us, but it is something they are hoping to resolve. We had half board.The breakfast was busy but well managed. It had a cold and hot buffet which were very tasty. Evening meal was a themed styled buffet and was generally very good. The theme whether it was English, Italian, Asian, etc was displayed outside the cafe door. There was entertainment every second evening which was very pleasant. Our arrival was beyond restaurant hours, and as we had half board, it was a great surprise to find a tray with bread, cheese, fruit and water waiting for us in our apar**ent. Onsite there is a small well priced supermarket with a book purchase/exchange area.

We stayed at The Costa Sal over the early May bank holiday . Arrived quite late . Check was easy , staff lovely . Upgraded to a suite on arrival . Rooms and grounds immaculate . Ideally located .for beach and restaurants
